Junk!
Been buying Craftsman for years now and using my dad's craftsman tools which are 30+ years old. The older sockets from my dad are 100 times nicer and did i mention 30+ years older. Save you time and money with this set and don't buy it. Sockets are bronze and chrome colored - the set looks terrible because of it. Chrome is flaking and showing spot rust. I would have paid more for a good set. If you want a quality socket set, look elsewhere. Craftsman isn't the same quality.

ULTIMATE!!

This is called the ultimate set for a reason! The only challenge is fitting it all in one tool-box! Great sockets at a great bundle price.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Set, Just a few issues after sorting it all out.

I pulled the PDF list of the complete socket list from another review and bag by bag went through the contents. The paperwork in the box was not recognizable after shipment. The count was complete, but there were three cases where sockets were doubled up or the wrong type. Examples: a missing 6 mm in one group was two 9 mm sockets, a missing 3/16 12 pt was a 6 pt, and the missing 7/16 8 pt was a 12 pt. I haven't contacted Sears yet, but overall it was as promised and made in the USA. I will update after I contact customer service.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

I got this on sale and I love it. 60 lbs of every socket made what else can you say but amazing, Bags all sorted out for you, a 5 year old could verify items it took about an hour or so but at the end I was still smiling at 84 cents a socket AMAZING. Thanks craftsman

8 out of 40 people are unhappy Period! Made in the USA

There are a few people in every review that dont like something . 300 sockets for roughly 300 bucks made in the USA Guaranteed for LIFE. How could anybody not like that??? Well there are 8 that dont. If you want something pretty to look at spend 10 times more and buy snap on or mac. If you plan on using them and dont care if the chrome isnt perfect these are fine. If they look like they are starting to rust brush em with some steel wool and wipe em with an oily rag . Geesh!!! Or better yet USE THEM!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Complete!

The first complete set of sockets we have every bought in one box. i don't know why someone hasn't put a set together like this before. The finish is very good. They skipped one 1/2" drive socket so i called and spent less than five minutes on the phone and the missing socket arrived 2 days later at no charge. No complaints here.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Set

I always wanted all these sockets so I finally chumped off and got them while they were still made in the USA. I have no complaints about them. They price was very reasonable. Since 1963 I have never broken a Craftsman socket and I have wrenched a bunch of them. The people I know that did were always abusing them with cheater bars and the like, beating on them or using them with impact wrenches. Properly used and cared for they will last indefinitely.

Good value, poor packaging.

I received a box weighing 60 pounds. Inside I found the sockets separated into several bags, they were all banging against each other. Whoever is in charge of deciding how these gets packaged for shipping really needs to have another look at how these larger sets are shipped. I wish that I would of received the sockets as pictured on the sale page, instead they are full of nicks and scratches due to them bashing against each other during transport. Some of the easy to read engraving is scratched as well. Many have what appears to be a rough zinc anti corrosion coating inside. The nickle plating is okay, some minor imperfections. I expected a new socket set to look new and be blemish free. They are all still useable, and have the craftsman warranty. I would suggest going through the parts list on arrival, I was missing one socket. Also two other sockets had some corrosion that I believe warrants replacement.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Made in the USA

If you get these on sale there should be no reason to rate this product any lower than a 5 star. $1 each for some USA made sockets I can over look an occasional blemish or some missing chrome. Some people are ridiculous, if you want a flawless set buy snap-on for 10X the amount.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
