got it home, assembled, started once and then oil leaking everywhere. took it back to store, very poos\r customer service. it is a shame how the craftsman products have gone down hill. our last craftsmant lasted for over 10 years.

This is a decent edger. Easy to set-up, easy to operate. If your grass is thick or your edge takes a lot of effort, this guy might not be the right edger, but it does the job. HOWEVER, once the blade gets beaten down, it's nearly impossible to replace. I took the whole edger apart and the one bolt I could not remove was the one that held the blade in place! I took it back to Sears and they had no help. I went to this website and they had no help. I went to Google and You-tube...no help. Most edgers have a mechanism to lock the blade, if this one has one, I couldn't find it and now I simply can't remove the blade and the edger is essentially a throw away. Unless Craftsman gives me direction on how to swap the blade, I can't give this more than one star. Sorry.

I had my first Craftsman edger for 12+ years. It was a true work horse! I have only used my new edger twice so far, but as far as I can tell it will serve me well. The power is outstanding! the cut is deep and very clean. It started on the first pull and assembly was a piece of cake. I look forward to another 12 + years with this edger.

I bought this edger 2 years ago. The first year was okay. Stated up after many pulls on the cord but didn't make the best edge. 2nd year could never get it started. Put new gas in it. Bought a new spark plug. Still nothing. I only used it 4 times.

This is a very good grass edger for the money. I purchased it, and after six pumps on the primer, I have never had to pull more than 3 times to start. If you purchase this edger, keep in mind that the shaft for the blade is 5/8's of an inch. You wont be dissatified, if so, you're doing something wrong!!!!!!!!!!

Engine starts quickly just about every time but the overall design is poor. To make a nice edge, I have to "balance" the wheel on the curb and that is often difficult. When doing this, the handle gets torqued clockwise and the entire experience become tedious. Poor design, poorly executed IMHO
