You always need a backup

3/16 masonry bit--it is what it is. I like to have a backup for my drill bits, especially the thinner ones, since they're easy to snap. I wish this bit was made a little longer though.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Masonry bit

The bit stayed sharp while I drilled six 1" deep holes into concrete & brick to install a large stainless steel chimney cap. I worked slowly and let the bit cool between holes, but It started to slow down on the last couple of holes, but finished the job. I tossed it into the to-be-sharpened bin.
