      3/4 impact.

I see someone saying it wouldn't remove lug nuts. Mine never has a problem even with much heavier application than lug nuts. I use a oil lubed 60 gallon compressor. Also I use a 1/2 inch hose and 3/8 fittings as the gun calls for. The more powerfull a impact gun is the more air it needs, as a general rule anyway.

      More consistent force for disassembly

Over time, air motors wear. When they do, they produce less power. The most common stuck fastener problem I see in my home shop is bolts, lugs, and suspension nuts that were torqued to specification but require much more force to remove than was required to install them. My old 1/2" doesn't have the oomph it used to. I moved up to a 3/4" impact to address this problem. This wrench delivers well in this department, and I spent far less than I would have at Snap On or Chicago Pneumatic for a 1/2" wrench. Plus, for reassembly the craftsman wrench allows me to slow it down, avoiding any heat or cross threading damage to threads. It is quieter than the 15 year old 1/2" Craftsman impact I upgraded from. This wrench is designed well, comes with a mirror finish, and is a workhorse! I have it fitted with a good quality impact rated 1/2" adapter so all my sockets will still work. The only negative is one I fully expected: A more capable, heavier duty air tool weighs more than it's junior 1/2" little brother. I don't use it 8 hours a day, so this is a minor inconvenience for me in exchange for a much stronger tool.

      Craftsmen 3/4 in. Impact wrench

Not a bad tool, its just that for a 3/4 drive tool it should be more powerful.  I own a 1/2 drive craftsmen professional impact that has almost as much power as this one, cost less too.

Did exactly what I needed it to do.

I needed this tool to remove the Harmonic damper on a mopar v6.  It worked great.  Saving me both time and frustration.  I am Handy man and use the tool intermitantly.  Removes wheel lugs without any trouble and is simple to maintain.  Great tool.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
