This is a great tool for initially breaking nuts and bolts to be removed. after I break loose the nut or bolt, I change over to a ratchet to finish removing the fastener. There are three things I like about this tool, it has a mini beebee like ball on the joint to keep the socket attached, the joint is able to move in 45 degree angles and it's Craftsman with lifetime warranty if it breaks, you just return it to a Sears store. and still Made in USA !
this came in handy just as soon as i needed to replace the transition cooling elbow in the dredded gm 3800 series 2 motor. great leverage, quality tool that is perfect to use on idiler pulleys.
It is very flexible when you need a different angle. The breaker bar looks high quality although it is thinner than it looks from the picture. Wish it had a longer handle.
I bought one about a year ago for my aviation tool set before going overseas to work on military helicopters. I first used it when I was overseas and to my surprise, none of my craftsman sockets fit on it. The square drive was machined too big. Of course it was a Chinese made one. When I went on leave earlier this year, I went to my sears store and exchanged it for a new one (another Chinese made one) I soon discovered after coming back overseas that the square drive head was extremely loose and floppy. I tried to use an allen wrench to tighten the screw, but it was metric, and I do not have metric tools with me. So I went online, and ordered an S?K breaker bar. This one is getting junked. Horrible, horrible quality oversight issues with Craftsman now days. Probably should have checked the quality of it before I walked out of the store. Oh well.
I have a USA made one of these in every toolbox, very handy. the size is just right for portability, but its beefy enough for removing fasteners better suited for 1/2 inch drive stuff. My old man actually used this model of breaker bar to change a car tire in a pinch, like I said, very tough!

The Craftsman 3/8 in. dr. 10 in. Flex Handle is a great tool to get in to tight spaces to break a stuck bolt. Very handy and made to last.
