This ratchet has a lot of features, good for working in tight and awkward places. It's a sturdy ratchet. Handle is long for leverage. I use it when I go to the wrecking yard to take parts off many different trucks. Has not failed yet.

I do not use this style of ratchet all the time but when it is needed it makes a hard task EASY! Great finsh, smooth with no burrs!

I have used this style of rachets for many years (other brands), and I love this style with the curved handle. It allows you to use it like a single hand speed handle by bending the head at 90 degrees and circling your wrist. This particular model looks good, and works OK as well. My only complaint is that if you hold the head during use (which you usually need to do), then it easily switches directions on you. I have to be careful not to flip the switch accidently. It has happened several times on me. I actually have a 30 year old rachet from company that I don't believe makes them anymore that I like better. I thought it was lost, so I bought this one. After finding it, I probably prefer it to this one.

Decent ratchet, sadly its now made in Taiwan and they are still charging Made in USA prices. I bought it online thinking it would show up matching the one my dad has had for 30+ years and its similar but different. The quick release is not self contained but has a protruding piece when pressed that sticks out from the socket attachment, the retaining ball must be pushed in to the head as it does not move in like it does on the the older series ratchets. Mine was lubed when I got it but I still decided to add some 90W SAE to it as I prefer a really smooth ratchet. Would be decent if you can get it one sale.

Oftentimes you need the right tool for the job. Wasted time, effort, sweat and sometimes cussing too are many times caused by the wrong tool. The flex head and the offset handle can allow you to get into tight places that other tools cannot. Since engineers continue to design without a thought for maintenance, repair or replacement; you need tools such as this.
