Don't Overlook This Ratchet The Next Time Your At Sears
. 44835 is another member of the 36 tooth teardrop family in the Craftsman Full Polished Line. With its 22 offset handle and flex head you will enjoy the versatility that it offers you. The easy-clean fully polished finish is just an added bonus. Remember that this is a 36 tooth ratchet and as such requires a 10 degree swing to engagementFor those of you concerned as to the Country Of Origin of the current offering of this ratchet, there is no need for concern. Prior to the submission of this review I took a close look and found it to be on par with the previous ratchet.

Changed
Decent ratchet, sadly its now made in Taiwan and they are still charging Made in USA prices. I bought it online thinking it would show up matching the one my dad has had for 30+ years and its similar but different. The quick release is not self contained but has a protruding piece when pressed that sticks out from the socket attachment, the retaining ball must be pushed in to the head as it does not move in like it does on the the older series ratchets. Mine was lubed when I got it but I still decided to add some 90W SAE to it as I prefer a really smooth ratchet. Would be decent if you can get it one sale.

Nice ergonomic ratchet

I had a bridgeport ratchet like this but I have to say that I prefer the feel of the Craftsman ratchet. The finish is good and the ratchet feel like a precision tool. Very comfortable to use.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

That special tool your box should not be without!

I work on a lot of power boats and classic cars. Those of you that do the same know that you don't want to do any damage when working on a tough bolt, nut or plug in a tight hard to reach place. here is a great tool to deal with that and you'll never have to buy another one!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Handy ratchet.

An offset flexing ratchet that will help you get into the tight and hard to reach places. Very reasonably priced. Ordered from Sears.com and delivered to my door. It's Craftsman quality and I can return to my local Sears store for free replacement if I have a problem.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Nice Flexibility

Easy to use! Nice angle on handle to give more options than straight shaft. Plus the pivoting head is a key. Allows one to get in tight places!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Must have for vehicle maintenance

American made craftsman quality. Full polish flex head still has the made in the USA on the handle. Nice addition to any collection. If you are in question I recommend it.

Well laid out, handy size, mine was USA made

The sole reason I bought this one was due to it being made in USA. I havent used it much, but the head angle detents are very positive, and it doesnt move around easily, which is good in tight places. nice finish, but that was on my USA made one, I doubt the import ones will be half as good.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Not sure where it's made

I got this because it was about half the price of the next cheapest offset ratchet. I don't use it much so wasn't looking to spend a lot of money on it. Not sure where it's made though. Ratcheting mechanism is smooth and the movement arc isn't bad. I usually use it on spark plugs and bolts that are blocked by the firewall. Seems like it will be fine.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
