I have found this to be a great addition to my tool box. Its curved handle is great. The length adds leverage when you need it. I should have purchased one sooner.
I bought this ratchet because we used to have one at home. There are a few different things about this one but it seems to have a good quality ratcheting mechanism and still in this handy configuration

Bought on sale, and was skeptical initally. Stated was made in Tawain. For the price i said what the heck, let me try it and test this new line of craftsman tools made abroad. So far did five tune ups with it, and it is ok. It does NOT have a cheap feel to it, and it gets the job done. The gearing is heavier duty than ratchets made in china. No cheap skipping, slipping of gearing or knuckle busting effects so far. If u are a shady tree mechanic, on a budget and need to get tune ups done this is a very handy tool to have. Despite being made in Tawain it is better than the china tool knockoffs. Just feel the gearing in the store and you will see what i mean. The tool will hold up for the price. I have a v series version, sk version and snap on version, and have paid triple the price for similar ratchets in the past and decided to give this one a test. Conclusion : For a guy on a budget looking to get a job done, u get a lifetime warrenty, no cheap slipping of gearing thus no busted bleeding knuckles.... so give this a try. For the price you cannot go wrong. It is priced cheaper than harbor freights version and seems so far it is better constructed than the pittsburg version (at least the one i picked up). Compare the two and you will see craftsman did ok with this one for what they charge. For the pro, this is a good spare backup tool, because of the cost. It doesnt break the bank and if you are in a bind, this will get you out, till the snap on truck comes to replace your snap on or sk one. So far happy with the purchase due to pricing and overall outcome. I recommend this to the budget oriented guy, or if u need to have a backup spare. You cant go wrong either way for the price.

One of the best ratchets in tool box, with it's flex head it is easier to position the handle in different angles so you won't bust your knuckles with a stuck nut or bolt.
Recently added this to my travel tool kit. Works great in tight places and has very rugged construction. By far the best built Craftsman ratchet I've ever owned.

I had a bridgeport ratchet like this but I have to say that I prefer the feel of the Craftsman ratchet. The finish is good and the ratchet feel like a precision tool. Very comfortable to use.
