We use this drill commercially. It works constantly for 16 hours a day, 5 days a week. It screws about 2000 screws a day. It is not heavy work but a lot of on and off work. The only problem is about after 3 months use it will wear a groove in the seal to where it does not turn off completely. Sears does sell these seals and every so often we change them out. We oil daily and takes care of any bearing problems. I will order more.

I purchased this drill thinking it was of good quality and it quit after two uses in one year. Now it is out of warranty, and i can't return it. TWO USES is all it had. It sat in my toolbox most of it's life. I got maybe 15 min. of use and the bearings went.

I bought this drill and have hade many others that don't compare to craftsman comfortable design power light weight and cool looks I rebuild semi trailers and use it all day long one of the best using it on aluminum steel and every thing in between a great drill with any air tool must have unlimted air supply to work at top performance 90 percent of my tools are craftsman I live by them

I bought this drill around five years ago. It has never had problems and still works great. It is small but powerful, spinning high speed. It is really perfect size and shape to use. This item doesn't come with lifetime warranty but I paid around 10 bucks for two years warranty. Again, I never had a problem with this drill. I never used warranty. But just in case, I think it is better to pay for warranty. That was around five years ago. I don't know the cost of warranty now. You should check before you but it.

I have had this drill for 6 months with a few issues. There is now a flat spot in the drill to where it will not start unless you spin the chuck and hold the trigger. This drill also seamed to not have as much torque as other manufactures drill similar to this one. Quality wise it has held up to the use except for the flat spot. For the price it was not a bad purchase but I will try other brands in the future for air tools.

I used to use this drill everyday when I was working as a machinist/supercharger technician. It worked great for drilling small holes in seals so i could use a puller. I have also heavily used it for drilling into alluminum. The drill lacks any amount of torque so drilling into stainless is difficult unless you go really slow. It is awesome for high speed precise drilling, but not good for anything that requires torque (as with most air drills). If i have air readily available i go for this drill over any corded or cordless drills. I also love the compact size which makes it easy to hold in small spaces and easy to use for delicate jobs. would definately recommend.

Purchased from a local sears hardware store and loved it from the first time I used it. It is, like all air drills, an air hog. But well out shines even my 18v cordless drills in power and ease of use. If your shop is like mine and you just don't have enough 110 plugs an air drill is the only way to go.
