Works for Me
I've owned this toolbox for about a year and I think it's been great. It's not the highest quality toolbox, but for the price ($30) it's been everything I needed. The drawers are little flimsy but I haven't had any problems with them. My only complaint is that if the top is closed you can't open any of the drawers, but I guess it makes sense to be designed that way so that drawers don't accidentally open if you're carrying it around.

3 drawer tool chest
I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this chest. It is not the quality one used to expect from Craftsman products. Even at the sale plice it is poor quality for the money. All the comments about cheap and the drawer slides jam if not pulled in the center apply. Craftsman might have some quality products, but this is not one of them.

Absolutely love it!!

Ok, so this was one of My Christmas gifts to My self! Love it. All metal so it is rugged and wont "twist" or warp like some of the plastic ones do when you have a heavy load in it. Plenty of room for tools. I looked at the bigger one, but I wanted a toolbox that I could comfortably carry when you load it with tools and this is perfect. With the lid closed, the drawers cant be opened making it safe & easy to carry - even if you have to hoist it up.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good Product; could be better, but it's also a great value.

I've been through several of these over the years. In very hard use it lasts 3-5 years, so I expect it would last for decades if it isn't hauled around and beat up. Ours usually carries 40-50 pounds, which is probably too much for it, but it lasts for several years just the same.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Nothing to brag about, but works well as a stationary tool chest.

I use this as a stationary chest on my work bench. It's light duty and I personally won't use it as a portable box to carry mechanics tools in because I'm afraid the rivets for the handle will rip out through the thin metal. Oh, and my Craftsman sticker was crooked, what the heck is that about. I got it for 20 bucks after sale price and rewards points, for 20 bucks it deserves 4 stars. If I had paid full price for it I would have taken it back. But it does well just sitting on my bench holding wrenches. It's an average tool box that does not impress me. Oh, and oil the rails up too, helps a whole lot.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

3-Drawer Metal Portable Chest-Red/Black

How long has this thing been around?  Forever and, why mess with success?!?  A tried and true design with the features the budding mechanic or homeowner needs to include smooth sliding, locking drawers all made of good, heavy steel?

I've had mine for quite some time now and, despite my best efforts to abuse it, it has been perfect!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
