Craftsman 3-in 90-deg Quick Release Corner Clamp Keeps You Precise and Saves Time

With the Craftsman 3" 90-degree quick-release corner clamp, you can lock down your 90-degree corners and get to cutting, drilling or glueing. Simply slide your corner pieces into the jaws of the clamp, which comes equipped with jaw protectors, making sure to prop up any long ends. From there, it is already as tight as you need it. You have plenty of time to let glue dry or decide how best to secure your joint.

The Craftsman 3-in 90-deg quick-release corner clamp eliminates the need to slowly unwind the jaws of your clamp. With 3" jaw width and 2.5" throat depth, this clamp is not going to take up a lot of room, either. It's total dimensions are just 16" x 8" x 11.75".

      • Craftsman 3" 90-degree quick release corner clamp comes with jaw protectors
      • Clamp measures 16" x 8" x 11.75"
      • Jaws measure 3" with a throat depth of 2.5"
      • Quick release mechanism makes it fast and easy to unload the clamp
      • Clamp force is 1000N
      • Steel gray and black design is inconspicuous
      • The entire clamp is made out of metal components
      • The clamp creates a 90-degree angle for 90-degree joints

Craftsman 3 in. 90 deg. Quick Release Corner Clamp

I use this thing a lot now that I have it!  I used to use a band clamp for box corners and such but with this I can clamp the sides quickly and pin with a nailer and move on to another corner!  I should have bought this long ago!

Tightens well and leaves no marks.  Lightweight yet strong and the price is certainly right!

      Poor Workmanship
I bought 2 of the 90 deg. clamps. Each had a problem concerning workmanship. That is there was poor workmanship. The first problem was that one of the 2 clamps in one of the 90 deg. clamp units did not tighten. Instead the clamp's quick release engaged and then disengaged as I tightened the clamp to secure a work piece. If the quick release worked properly it would have remain engaged until I pushed on it to disengage it and thereby loosen the work piece. The problem was caused because the quick release was not working properly. I just exchanged the 90 deg. clamp at the store. The second 90 deg. clamp works properly but while working with it one of the screws holding a plastic insert in the jaws of one of the two clamps fell out and onto the floor. The plastic piece just protects the work piece from marring. I tried to tighten the screw but it turned out the threaded hole in the plastic was stripped. I kept the second 90 deg. clamp since the store in Brockton did not have any more units and it still functioned well. I just glued the screw in the hole. My conclusion is that the 90 deg. clamp is an excellent idea but there are problems with the quality of the product caused by poor manufacturing practices.

      Corner clamp

Very good quality and a good price for the quality. This will be a good addition to my wood working shop.

      Great Craftsman tool to have

It is a very useful tool to have if you are making picture or mirror frames. Quick release is saving time to clamp work piece in place, as well as remove it from the vise. I am going to buy another one! Thank you!

Corner Clamps were the perfect solution

Bought some cheaper ones elsewhere but did not work. These were the perfect solution and worked perfect the project I was working on. Thanks

Great idea, price or quality could be better

I love the idea and there is not much heavy equipment for small jobs out there like this. I use it all the time, but it was a little pricey if you were looking for a cheap piece of equipment, I ended up getting it on impulse with a coupon. The price would be great for a super high quality item, but this one does not seem as accurate or precise as I would expect from top-of-the-line. I would buy it again/more- but not at full price.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Best 90 degree angle clamp in my collection

I had this saved in my cart for later for quite some time. I finally purchased one to meet a requirement for a Shop Your Ways coupon. (Highly recommend becoming familiar with the program if you are not!) I was very pleased. I like the large grip handles and the quick release thread system to allow for fast adjustments. This is great for working with wood or other items. I weld a lot so I plan to cut out some denim from old jeans to cover the threads to prevent damage during welding. I also noticed the pads can be removed.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Good Design, Poorly Made

If it weren?t for how useful this tool is, it would be a solid 2-star at best. This clamp is well designed and does its job fairly well, but it is incredibly poorly made. While I was using it, the plates were constantly coming unscrewed and falling off. The metal it is made with seems more like plastic and was dented on several occasions by an errant swing of a hammer and even by wood hitting it a few times. If you need one of these, this will do the job for you, but for the sake of durability I would recommend a better made one. *Disclaimer: This review was written under the Sears Product Review Points Offer. Sturdy but small

I was not paying attention when I purchased these clamps and did not notice that the maximum they open is a couple of inches. The cabinet doors I am making are 3" wide frames so these clamps will not hold them.

Fine corner clamp that could be better

This is a high quality corner clamp. The quick release feature is useful because it means not having to turn many revolutions of the worm gear to set the clamp. I overlooked one thing when I selected the clamp. It clearly states it is a 3 inch clamp. How I wish there was a 4 inch model so I could create corners as large as a 2 x 4.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

      Great clamps

These corner clamps are great for variety of household projects. Great for making or repairing picture frames. I have used them to repair furniture and other projects. The quick release button makes it easy to position the clamps at the right gap width.
