Happy (Lawn) Gardener
I got a great product at a great price! I ordered it online at Sears.com. While I have only used the edger and trimmer (and not the blower yet) attachments, the ease of use, exchageablity of tools and the results are outstanding. I did have an issue with the edger, which did not rotate when attached, but, as Sears is noted for, they gladly exchanged the edger for a new one that worked fine. Great versatile lawn tool

Terrible! Crafsman has gone downhill
I have had this item for 2 years and have spent more in repair than the unit cost. Once again the unit broke and sears wants a $35.00 just to look at it when the unit cost 129.00. Do not waste your money on this item unless you want to buy a new one each year. For the past 10 years I always bought Craftsman and their products are not what they once were.

Attachments aren't very good

Brought this 3-in-1 unit back home yesterday after a trip to Sears. I tried all the attachments and I had no success with the edger attachment. The motor simply isn't powerful enough to rotate the blade with enough torque cut through the grass. The weed eater itself works well and the blower is satisfactory - power enough to blow grass off the side walk. I would not recommend this package, but would recommend the weed wacker if sold separately without the attachments.

Pull Start Broken 3 weeks after Purchase

Purchased new on 3/26/13. Went to start today with smart start drill bit and would not start. Tried using the pull start rope and the spring broke. Build quality for Craftsman has dropped off big time.

Middle of the road

Wouldn't start right outta the box. Took several attempts, even pulled the spark plug to see if it was bad (spark didn't seem adequate) put back in and after a few more attempts it finally did start. Ran fine after that. Hope the attachments hold up - seemed like they needed to be lubed more - I dunno. One thing I did notice was the high noise level when running - hearing protection is needed. Not all bad - it ran good after the initial non start issue. Used all the attachments and all worked fine, did like how the blower worked.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Handy tool

We wanted a gas weed eater and were happy to find this kit that included the edger attachment. The price was great for a three tool combo. The staff at Sears was helpful and answered our questions. We did not feel rushed to make a buying decision.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Average trimmer

I ordered this item online. It was delivered in good condition. It took only a few minutes to put together. After starting it per the instructions I let it warm up but it did not run well. I could not get any power past half throttle. I exchanged it at the local store and the second one runs well. The problem I have found is that the edger doesn't edge well. I guess there isn't enough power. The trimmer/blower work well. Haven't decided if it is a good deal or not. I have only owned this about 2 1/2 weeks.

Perfect

I bought this for my husband and it is a very easy to use uniquely made kit. The power on all the attachments work perfectly. The blower is very powerful. We had heavy rains and was able to blow the wet leaves off the driveway with no problem. The edger takes a bit to get the first cutting, but after that, it was wonderful. The strimmer cut our entire back overgrown yard in a matter of minutes. I would recommend this to anyone. Our next purchase will be the hedge trimmer, the tiller and the chainsaw attachments.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Much better than I expected

After reading the mixed reviews I was hesitant to get this set but so far so good. Trimmer is excellent, I like how you can attach it at 90 degrees for edging flower beds, the edger takes some practice but I got it now and it's great. The blower works great but is heavy and awkward to use. I would recommend the shoulder strap. Starts easy if you follow the directions and starts right up after it is warmed up. Very good purchase

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good tool set

The pull start takes 8-10 pulls to turn over.  The line trimmer, blower and edger work well once you get the engine going.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
