Another one of those tools you don't really think you'll need until you actually do and then, if you're lucky enough to have them, you're good to go! I bought mine the day I found out just how versatile they could be and have used them quite a lot since then.
Even if you think you don't need them, get 'em for the day you will!

These will help you get the job done, but after many uses, the swivel becomes loose and you have ask for a replacement through lifetime warranty. These are better than the ones from **************, Autozone etc.,

I really like these. I took 1 star away cause they can be a bit loose and also i got a 1/4 replacment and it was made in china.but i do really like them

The package clearly states that the universal joints are made in China. In my opinion, Sears cannot guarantee the quality of the tools (although I'm sure that they have considered the low cost of replacing those that break) for anything made in China. Sears should not charge Craftsman prices for this product.

Decent set, has the lifetime warranty, but I was disappointed that it's made in China. If I'd known that I wouldn't have bought it, even on sale.

I used these to get into the tight, awkward spaces in which the bearing assembly of an Impala was located. Used a 1/2 drive 18" Craftsman breaker bar with a 1/2 to 3/8 Craftsman adapter and put a lot of torque on a bolt and both the universal joint and adapter held up strong.

If I remember correctly, I used one of these with an impact gun (yeah yeah, i know you're not supposed to) and it handled the impacts just fine, removed the bolt that I could not get out.. I would HIGHLY recommend these.

The quality of these swivel joint set is far above any standard set. There is enough tension to hold the socket in place while you're trying to place your bolt or nut without it flopping around. I have a set in with me in the back of the Truck for incidental repairs and oil changes. I love my american made craftsman tools!

I just did an exchange with my old u-joints for this set after the 1/2" drive broke. I must say looking at the two side by side, they have improved significantly from the model that broke which were at least 20 years old. Not to mention it is nice to have those shiny new tools again.
