They are solid and do their job.

The first pair of these I had were black and yellow, so the "Pink color problem" didn't bother me.  These work very well for what they are designed to do, and that is support a load (car, truck, bed frame?) on a hard surface.  They have worked so well that I got another pair so I could support all four corners of a sports car at the same time.  When on a level surface they provide an adequate anchor and I have never had one try to tip over.  Adjusting the height is reasonably simple, and when the height is set correctly the locking handle is forced against the ratched bar so the added weight of a vehicle helps to lock it.  Once the weight is removed they are very easy to unlock and colapse.

As mine sit outside most of the time a red one would fade to pink eventually anyway.  I like them and would buy them even if they were completely pink.

NOT safe
I bought these before seeing a review by another user where he stated the release mechanization was flawed in that you can engage the release even when there is a load on them. Lucky for me I DID look after purchase and before I used them for my car. I was using them for relatively light duty (but heavy enough that it should not release by some fluke) and the lever was easily flipped up lowering the arm crushing the tip of my index finger. There is a severe safety flaw that allows the arm to be lowered WITHOUT it needing to move up the typical 3/4 of an inch or more first, it just drops. Needless to say I returned them promptly. I consider myself lucky that all I came out with was a crushed tip of the finger and not under my car swapping the clutch as I had planned.

These stands suck

First, let me say that I am not a weekend warrior, I am a full time, professional mechanic for almost 15 years. I had to help a friend put some new brake lines on his car this weekend, so I brought along a pair of these to use for the first time, along with an old pair of Larins that i've had forever. The locking mechanism on these stands is terrible. If you don't make sure the lever is down, the weight of the car will not lock the stand properly and could be potentially very dangerous. That and the one time use has left a significant amount of red paint gone. Poorly made stands, I expected more. Will keep them and use them for very light duty stuff and look into getting a better pair for real work.

Great solid Jack Stands

Comparing the craftsman 2 1/4 ton Jack Stands(I own a pair of them too), these 3 ton Jack stands feel a lot more secure. The base of the 3 ton are a lot wider. Also the 3 ton can raise a lot higher too. Overall, I feel much more confident working under my new 3 ton Jack stands than my old 2 ton ones.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Seem ok for light duty

These are pretty nice. The pair I got don't look like the ones shown in either of the pictures but still seem like good usable light duty jack stands. The casting for the red bar has considerable porosity so I'd be a little leery of loading these up to full load at full height.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

These hold up heavy things and don't cost much

I've always had the post and pin jack stands so this is my first pair of the 'weird' ratchet style stands. It is certainly nice to have really easy vertical adjustment...just pull up on the top and they slide up to the next position. Although, I'm used to being able to grab my old jackstands by the top to pick them up and carry them around the garage. Don't do that with these...the bottoms will crash to the ground. I got these mainly for the 'high lift' capacity. They lift a few inches higher than some of the other models which is perfect for my uses.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great Jack Stands

Great jack stands. No sharp edges to cut floor. They operate smoothly unlike the cheaper ones you might buy at some outlet.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Very good set of jack stands

A very rugged and dirable set of jack stands that extend more to give you more freedom to work on the larger trucks on the road. I have used them several times with no issues. A safety must-have!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

High Lift Jack Stands are above the rest!

I purchased this item since several of my vehicles are lowered. I need all the height I can get when I'm underneath doing oil changes or other maintenance or customizations. I've had these in the past, and I have full confidence in their weight capacity and height. Plus, for the price, I'd definitely recommend them.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
