Great Impact Driver

I buy most of my tools with AC power instead of batteries. This driver is heavier than most of the newer battery-operated impact drivers, but it's also a pretty powerful tool. I remodeled a room in an attic and needed this driver to drive 6" screws into seasoned rafters, which are hard as rock. This driver was able to drive them when nothing else would. It could break off the screw heads (good American-made screws-not the imported cheap stuff), so it's got enough power to handle just about any job I need it for. Very happy with this tool.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good alternative to Cordless

So I recently bought this item because I am tired of paying $100 a pop for new cordless tool batteries, when I only really use them in my wood working shop. The cost of this tool is well worth it. It costs less than one battery for my Makita. It is very strong, and quick. The grip is nice, but the tool is not as well balanced as I would like, it is a little front heavy. For most this will not matter, but for a tradesman it makes a difference. It is also significantly heavier than my Makita, not a bad thing as the materials are probably stronger, only time will tell. Very satisfied.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

No more stripped screw heads

This drill is awesome!! No more stripped screw heads even while using it one handed!! That plus never having to buy a replacement battery a few years down the road that would cost as much as this drill does alone makes it worth the money. I have yet to try it on my car or SUV's lug nuts but I also have the 8 amp impact to rely on for those bigger jobs. This driver will be key for my upcoming swingset/deck/shed projects. After pairing this with a 25 ft cord reel my 18V DeWalt drill will be collecting dust!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

This impact driver rocks!!!!

Bought this CORDED impact driver today for using around the house and building medium sized furniture. Used on 3" screws philip and robertson heads, and the driver worked flawless. Next on the list of hex heads and i have no doubt it will work just as fine. I do not own any cordless tools except a 3.6V screw driver. I love corded tools and keep 100ft of 16 and 14 guage extension cords handy incase it need to work outside. Highly recommend this tools to anyone considering it.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Impressed and plenty of power

I bought this to drive screws through cement board for a tile floor remodel. Sometimes you need the max power and usefullness of a corded tool. This impact driver worked well all day long. I have a cordless impact as well and I prefer this one for my tougher jobs when I know I will need it all day long. No batteries to wear out or die. Would recommend for the home shop.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Amazing power

This is an excellent tool. I tried this driver on a few 3in. screws and it was effortless. It only takes about 1 sec for each 3in. screw to sink all the way into douglas fir. The quick release on this driver is well designed and functions very smoothly.
