Decent set for the money

For a less expensive set of bits, these are pretty good bits.  I have used most of them quite extensively and they are still sharp after all this time!  I have purchased bits from a discounter that were also carbide but they never lasted this long making me have to buy them again, these are much better than that.  Get them for the most common bits used and you'll be happy!

Great idea...but
I purchased this set for my husband for Christmas - it looked great but when he opened it, the latch was broken (wouldn't close). He returned it to the store but they didn't have a replacement item so they gave him credit. Because he didn't have a receipt, they gave him credit for 20% less than the $ I paid for the item.

Fantastic Starter Set

My son bought the Craftsman 30 pc router bit set for me for Christmas. I have several bits in the shop, but router bits are like clamps (you can never have too many). This is not a high end set, but pretty decent for the price point and this set has a nice variety. This variety will give you a chance to try various bits and see which ones you would be using regularly and see first hand what patterns you can make. Then you could move up to a higher class of those bits that you will actually use regularly. Even though, these are not top of the line bits, they still make decent cuts and help you make nice looking projects. I see some bits that I will use more than others, but it is always a good idea to have those odd ones, just for those projects you may need to make that one type of cut. Overall, I like this set and it gives me a chance to learn how to use certain bits on projects. The set has a decent case and it can be hung on your shop wall or right on the side of your router tab

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall, I like this set and it gives me a chance to learn how to use certain bits on projects. The set has a decent case and it can be hung on your shop wall or right on the side of your router table. I read some posts that this is a cheap  and flimsy case. Hey, it's wood and has two glass doors and keeps your bits safe from being damaged, keeps them organized, & keeps the dust off of them. No complaints on the case from me, as they could have just as easily sold them piled up in a cardboard  box or used plastic. My only complaints on the set, is I wished there were a few 1/2" shank bits on the bigger bits at the bottom of the case and maybe a  extra row of empty slots to add a few bits ( i do have a few other Craftsman bits that could be stored in the same place). My only advice that I could offer, is if you want professional high end bits, then buy professional high end bits. If you want a great starter set to learn and grow with and still make nice projects, then buy this set. I am not a pro by any means and still pretty green, so this set will work just fine for me to learn with and use on some projects in the shop. I would recommend this starter set for any of my buddies looking into a decent price set with variety for their routers.

great begginer set

I bought this set for 79.99 . Reg 119.99 . the bits are very sharp. the case is ok but what do you expect oak. For the price it is excellent. I priced a 10 bit set at sears yesterday it was 69.99 . This set would cost several several hunderd dollars if purchased seperatly.Im not sure why so many people are complaining about the case. It does what its suppose to.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Best deal for all the bits you will ever need!

The case is good and hold the bits well unlike what some say. Have used only 3 different bits and they cut very well. They are very sharp and are quality built. For this price you cant go wrong with buying this.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great bang for my buck

I've enjoyed using this product. The bits are a little difficult to remove from their holders, but other than that, the bits work good and I'm having fun building new projects.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Average bits ata good price.

These CRAFTSMAN ROUTER BITS are a 6 out of ten in my review. They tend to get dull fast. The case is all most a joke! CRAFTSMAN CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
