I purchased this power washer and had problems starting it after it ran out of gas the first time. If the engine was warmed up, it was extremely dificult to start. Called Sears and was told they were having complaints of the hard starting engine, to take it back and exchange it for another one. I did that and power washer #2 is just as bad, if not worse. It starts great if it is cold, but let it run of gas or try starting it when it is warm and you will have a problem. I am returning power washer #2 and will not buy another power washer with the "Ready Start" Briggs & Stratton engine.

I am a first time owner and user of a pressure washer and this one has been great. It starts on the first attempt, is powerful, and easy to use. It has worked well for cleaining siding, patio, porch, and washing vehicles. Since I have never owned or used one prior to this one I have nothing to compare it to, but then again I have no need for comparison since this one seems to do everything I need with ease.

This thing is junk. It started to vibrate apart the second time I used it. After about ten uses the pump stopped working. Sears did not want to fix it but said if I wanted a new pump I could order it for $200. but whats the point if you could buy a new one for $350.

The Craftsman pressure washer I purchased has so many uses! I have used it to clean my concrete driveway, vinyl siding, wooden deck, and on my cars and rv. The pressure washer is easy to use and maintain. and the variable settings allow for just the right amount of water pressure for the job I am doing. I would recommend the Craftsman pressure washer to anyone.

Easy assembly, started up with one pull.Plenty of power to blast away the toughest stains, paint and mold but gentle enough to not shred your vinyl siding. My deck, back porch, garage, gutters and my walkways are all clean and shiny new. This is a great product easy to setup and break down and will provide years of trouble free service.

Saturday - Drove 45 minutes to Sears and purchased the 2,700 psi model. Drove 45 minutes home and discovered the frame was bent and couldn't install the handle. Sunday - Drove 45 minutes to Sears, returned the 2,700 psi model and purchased this 3,000 psi model. Drove 45 minutes home and assembled unit with no problems. Monday - Took off work to pressure clean driveway. Filled washer with gas & oil, attached hose, pulled twice and started fine. Plenty of power, engine ran smooth. Power washed for 15 minutes, then ran out of gas. Refilled gas and started on the second pull. Ran for 30 seconds, sputtered, then shut down. Spent rest of Monday trying to restart the washer with no success. Purchased fresh fuel, drained gas from washer, removed gas line on washer to insure no clogs, removed bowl under carberator - no trash or water, checked spark plug. Refilled with gas and still would not start. Monday night - Drove 45 minutes to Sears to return pressure washer. I owned a Craftsman 2,000 psi pressure washer for 15 years with absolutely no problem until the high pressure pump head finally gave up the ghost. It's a shame that the current generation of Craftsman machines can't even last a day, let along years. Personally, I would stay away from this one.

A real waste of money. Cheap construction: day one. Primer pump leaks gas
day two, pump no longer works
day three, return to sears, proceed to *****.
