got to have one in your garage
I really like the auto start system it allows you to pick up the wand and start the unit when you want it to start. I also use it with the surface cleaner and it work like a charm I have many thing I look forward to try it on like my camper, house and the wood fence in my back yard.

      Grip and Go Review.
At $400 a 'standard' type of value. However, ****** extended warranty is $50 for 3 years and Sears is $150. A Sears employee explained the Craftsman 3000 psi, quiet sense machine has had problems and recommended I stay away from that model. So I purchased the Grip and Go. I strongly considered returning this item because I felt other brands at the same price were comparable, but the cheaper warranty at ****** was attractive. I was simply too lazy to take this machine back. It cleaned a 50 x 16 foot cement patio with about 3 tanks of gas. I was ready for a break before I ran out of gas so the tank size was not an issue. Here is what I can share: 1) The pull handle is over the oil fill. 2) The manual says to drain the oil after 5 hours of use. There is no oil drain, you must turn the machine upside down as directed in the manual. 3) The machine comes with 18 oz of oil. The manual says to fill with approximately 20 oz, but DO NOT OVERFILL. 4) Apparently all of these lawn equipment carbs become gummed up and won't start unless you can find gasoline without ethanol. I confirmed with the Sears repair shop. The number one reason for returns is owners using ethanol or gas older than 30 days. Premium gas was also recommended. The cost for repairs is $120 to clean the carb. Here is where the cheaper warranty comes in play. 5) You are purchasing a 3000 psi unit, but using the general tip you will only get 2700. Makes sense. Different tips = different psi. 6) Any $400 model comes with a cheap, stiff, hard plastic hose. There is no way you can wind this hose up on the handle without having the hose kink. Winding it up in a 2 or 3 foot diameter is a wrestling match and frustrating. 7) The dial a nozzle is suspect. I would rather have individual tips than a rotating head. 8) The soap holders are exactly the same. This means during assembly, one wing nut is easily accessed on the outside and the other is more difficult and screws on the inside by the motor. I did not purchase the $150 warranty. I did want to return the item, but did not want the hassle of taking the machine back to Sears. If I did it all over again, I would go to ***** and purchase the Troy Built with a $50 3 year warranty. But I must say, the machine starts up (for now) with a simple pull of the trigger on the wand and the machine performed fine. The issue here is the overvalued warranty and a motor that has documented 'issues' when using fuel containing ethanol.

      Productive

The Grab & Go feature is worth the extra cost. I recommend this pressure washer for every home owner. I have a pool that I use this washer to clean the entire drained pool each spring, the pool deck, patio furniture and wood deck. Wash the cars, the driveway and the side walks. The grab and go feature is really handy when climbing a ladder to wash the house and gutters. Saves gas and time. I keep the Grab & Go charger plugged in all the time without any issues the system is ready to go when I am. plenty of pressure for tough work and the quick 5 dial type nozzle makes adjusting to different surfaces and task quick and really easy. Starts every time i'm ready to work. I use high octane gasoline with a fuel stabilizer and a fuel stabilizer cartridge inside the gas cap.

      Innovative machine

I have to say this is one of the best pressure washer's I've ever used. I was a little nervous about purchasing it, but I'm glad I did. I've been able to clean everything from my driveway to my car to my back patio to siding on a home. It took about 15 min to put the handle together and the hoses on, but other than that it was pretty much ready to go. I put in the included oil and added some gas and off you go! The big tires are nice as I was going through my thick grass around the house. Generac makes a great product and I'd highly recommend them to anyone out there. You can get away with a 2500-2700 PSI machine, but the 4-in-1 capabilities really are worth it. The great thing to me is that it's easy to start or it will turn off with just the trigget. This will prolong the life of the washer for many years. I also love the fold-down effect of hte handle so you can fit it in a small place in your garage! Great product and something I will look forward to using for years.

      Pressure Washer

This is by far the best pressure washer I have ever used. I only needed this for jobs around the house, but it takes care of them all. This made cleaning the drive way so easy. The stamped concrete around my pool was also a breeze to clean. Glad I made the purchase!

      Good unit

I bought this because I pretty much have all Craftsman yard tools. I compared this against an electric start pressure washer at Northern Tool and the Grip and Go unit was cheaper and came with a battery. Pros: Cleans well. Starts quickly. Light weight. I like the fact that the water hose and the pressure washing cord exit the unit in the same direction. The exhaust is very quiet. Most pressure washers I have used in the past, I have had to use ear/noise protection. This thing purrs. It's very maneuverable and I like it that I can wind up the hose on the back of it easily. The multi- sprayer is convenient too. We shall see how long it lasts though. Cons: Used a lot of fuel. I mean A LOT. To do a 20x20' section of my driveway used a full tank of fuel. Constantly refueling this thing. A larger fuel tank would be a massive plus. Also, whenever I shut it off I get a ridiculously loud backfire. Those so far are the only negatives. The Grip and Go system sure is neat. Imagine your on top of a ladder pressure washing your gutters, you let go of the trigger- let it shut off- answer your phone- then grip the handle and it fires right back up. No need to go up and down the ladder. Pretty cool in my opinion. I am impressed with its power too. Cleaned my driveway quickly and thoroughly. I am not the type of person to do tons of research or price shopping. I look at 1 or 2 models within my price range and I make a decision. The Grip and Go is a better value than the ones at Northern Tool I think. Buy one!

      Engine blown after 3 uses

Very well maintained, cleaned, Stabilized, oil etc and used to powerwash house once a year. Engine starts to make noise piston rings blow and there she is... no warranty left and a seldom used machine worthless as small engine guys will not look at it for a fee that basically makes it not worth it. Called Sear powerwasher line approx. 5 million times and no ability to get to anyone to explain.
