Great cabinet! Well made!

One of the best garage cabinets I found for the price. Holds enough weight for my needs. Make sure you secure it to a wall, as with any tall free standing cabinet. The lock is not the most solid, but that was not an issue for me.

good value for the price. Damaged during shipping, two panels damaged when unwrapped. Good enough for basement storage after a little work, not worth returning

The cabinet was what I expected in terms of construction (sheet metal thickness). Assembly was easy and I had no issues putting the cabinet together by myself. I did not need a second pair of hands. The cabinet was fairly square even before I did some minor tweaks. The leveling feet made it easy to level the cabinet in my garage. Adjusting the door lock so the two doors worked correct took about 1 minute. Will this cabinet make your forget about a Gladiator version, no, but for a lot less money it will serve its purpose in my garage.

If you are a perfectionist I would not recommend you purchase this cabinet site to store. We waited for over a month for it to come via store to truck over and over until it finally got here. The box was messed up and full of dirt, and the cabinet was very badly beat up and bent in 4 places and scraped bad on the silver handle. It looked like the cabinet box had been dropped hard on both ends and sides a multiple of times getting here. The front bottom end was so bent and curled up that it took pliers to pull it back down enough to get it together. The only reason we did not return it is because I am elderly, arthritic, and weak, and unable to get the 126 pound box back to the store. I drug it off the truck, but was unable to lift it back onto the truck, so we kept it. It is nothing to be proud of for us, or for Sears. You may have better luck if you pay for shipping and let a delivery service handle the delivery instead of Sears.

I am very pleased with this cabinet. It came very well packed, which meant that the steel panels were undamaged with very little warping. The steel is a medium gauge, which is solid but still somewhat flexible and which can be damaged. However, the doors are very solid, and when assembled the unit feels secure and solid. It will require two people to assemble, but the instructions are easy to follow and the cabinet came together quickly. Everything lined up well, which demonstrates good craftsmanship. The hardest part was hanging the doors since the hinges attach to the sides with small screws which can easily drop, so line up the screw holes with a longer screw or thin peg (not included) to make it easier to place your first screws. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of assembly. The end product looks good and is useful for keeping more dangerous items locked away from small hands!
