Nice cabinet, However if you like rust. dont worry this cabinet will look like a rust bucket in just a few years. Guaranteed to rust like an old Toyota.. made from the same cheap metal and has a super thin cheap coat of something that resembles paint.. Even if you think you can put an extra coat of paint or even undercoating on this to keep it from rusting...forget it....it will still rust...its built to rust so you will have to buy a new one in just a few short years.. How convenient..

I have to say, I was impressed w/ how easy this was to put together and how well it was packed. The locking system could use some work, but does the job. A lot of storage space for the money.

the cabinet had been dropped and had to straighten and the lock was not installed upside down. After it was together it been a good cabinet.

I ordered six of these monsters delivered to my local Sears Hardware store. No problems picking them up, the guys were glad to help load them onto the truck I rented. Since each box is a good six and a half feet tall and weighs every bit of 200 pounds, wrangling them around is no small proposition. Opening the boxes was a pleasant surprise-- somebody's Christmas bonus must've been riding on getting these packed, so it was done right. The fiberboard pieces at each end of the box to keep the long panels from getting bent in transit was a great touch. Assembly was easy, though you may need a helper for the top and bottom bolts in the back if your arms are short. They look incredible when all is said and done, and that's half the point, right?

Good product for the price, easy assembly. Just remember do not tighten any bolts until end.

Cabinet is great. . . instructions are horrible. . . but, a guy can still figure out how to get it together.

I actually purchased this item for one of my sons. He has Craftsman products throughout his garage and needed more storage space so he could get things off the floor and workbench. This was the perfect birthday gift! It has ample shelving and depth for what he needs.

It is nice and it goes together well. Only problem with instructions is it does not show to place the bottom and top inside the walls because if you do not the side bolts do not go in properly. Otherwise it all goes together very well and easy. but: while it is packed with a ton of foam which is good the panel in the bottom of the box is at the bottom with no foam under it. It gets dented down there? Unavoidable as the long box shows down arrow so it is shipped and stored bottom down and when they pick up the box at one end it has to bend just a little crinkles the box then the dents in the box appear in the panel at the bottom. Im assuming foam at the bottom would prevent it. But Sears took care of me! Buy it.

I bought this cabinet during the Craftsman sale, which made it less expensive than the equivalent ******* or ***** versions. It matches the rolling tool cart nicely. My only quibble is that the instructions tell you it must be mounted to the wall for stability. There is a pre-drilled hole on only one end of the cabinet to mount the stability bar. The instructions didn't indicate there was a top or bottom to the sides, so that hole ended up on the bottom. I had to drill a new hole to mount the cabinet properly.

Purchased two of these cabinets over the weekend and put them together with my friends help. One of the cabinet was slightly dented but it did not affect assembly and once assembled, you could not tell it was ever dented. Regarding the holes not lining up, yes people are correct that a few of the holes do not line up perfectly. It's mainly when you put on the top or the bottom piece. However, if you don't tighten the nuts until you are fully assembled it's not that bad. The slight misalignment only added maybe 1min to the total assembly time. We hand tightened all the nuts, first then squared the cabinet while it was laying on the back then tightened everything up. We completed the first cabinet in 1hr and the second in about 20mins. The toughest part was putt the doors on the cabinet. We figured out that if we lay the cabinet down and while one of us is holding the door open the other person can quickly insert the first 2 screws and that was enough to align everything up.
