Craftsman 33 Gallon 165 MAX PSI Quiet Vertical Air Compressor
The 33 gallon 165 MAX PSI vertical air compressor delivers plenty of run time so you get jobs done faster.
It is oil free/maintenance free for ease of use. With the large 33 gallon tank, oil free design, and easy portability because it has wheels, this is the perfect compressor for all spray painting projects!. It can also handle all inflation, light to medium automotive projects as well. It also has a high flow regulator so when you need the full power of the compressor, you have it!
When you are done, all you have to do is wrap up the cord and wheel the compressor away on its two convenient wheels. This 110-120 v, 15-amp air compressor even works with an extension cord, thanks to its low-voltage start up.
This Craftsman 33 gallon vertical air compressor has 2 quick connects that let you have 2 lines ready so you can switch between tools quickly and waste less time. The compressor recharges fast, giving you less down time between uses as well. Another convenient aspect of this tank is that you are able to store it in cold or warm conditions without risk of ruining it. This is thanks to the fact that it requires no oil or maintenance.
- 33 gallon air compressor with wheels travels easily
- The 110-120 v cord on this compressor lets you plug it into essentially any standard plug, including extension cords, because it has a low-voltage start up

- This air compressor has quick connects so you can switch rapidly between pneumatic tools

I replaced a 15 year old Craftsman Compressor with the 33 Gallon Vertical. Really much quieter than my old one. More than enough power for running impact gun and ratchet. Price is outstanding for a large home shop unit. Completely assembled out of the box. All I did was add a drain extension. Buy this and you will love it.
Picked one up this morning, unpacked, inspected, fired 'er up ... took a few minutes to fill 7 to 10 or so. Checked relief valve stopped it @ 150 psi ... been holding there for a couple hours now. Not crazy about the drain plug will probably change it. My old 20 ga unit couldn't keep up ... I'll be occasionally pushing this one to the outer parameters of it's duty cycle ... I think it'll do OK only time will tell.
The compressor is much quieter than I expected. The added 15psi (over 150psi) is nice so the compressor does not cycle as much.
I bought this item when my old Craftsman 30 gal 5 hp unit started getting tired after 20+ years. I always liked the oil compressors because you could take care of them by changing the oil on a regular basis, and they would last a long time. I was hesitant to buy this compressor since some of the reviews were not kind, but I bought it and am glad I did. As a plus the vertical configuration is easier to move around and takes up less room than my previous horizontal unit. This compressor is a little louder than my previous unit, but really not too bad. It has the power to run most of my air tools without contiguously running. Will it last as long as my previous unit since it is oiless? Only time will tell.

My 15 year old craftsman 8 gallon air compressor just wouldnt push my impact or air tools like I needed for a transmission change. I went online and found this listed on sale for 100 dollars off putting in the price range of HF compressors but with better CFM performance numbers. Once at home I have not been disappointed. It is quieter than my old compressor, and carries the tools with ease. Using a 1/2 inch impact and 3/8 ratchet at the same time. Next up is painting.
