It is a great compressor for the money,I especially like the 2 line connectors. Would recommend to anyone looking for a compressor.
The compressor is a good all-around shop tool but only after 4 months, it starting leaking air. Since I live more than 60 miles from Sears and am a fair plumber/mechanic, I took care of the problems. Both the output and the input of the tank leaked air around the pipe threads. Getting to them means removing most everything with the exception of the motor/compressor. After about two hours work I removed the fittings and with a little pipe dope (which hadn't been used to start with), I repaired the leaks. This is poor quality control from the factory.

I bought this 2 years ago to replace the horizontal unit I had to bring back after it fried after 2 months of service (warranty upgrade replacement). I use this sparingly, not every day so it isn't used that often. I just went out to the shop and this thing won't do anything, completely shot. Definitely my last Craftsman.
This compressor is replacing a smaller one that required oil. This model is oil free and on nice size wheels. Easy to handle and move. Also, all the controls are on top of model and very easy to access.
Large tank is awesome but the compressor takes a long time to pump up. i had my first one replaced defective because it was leaking the second one is awesome drain valve is a little hard to get to but i have big hands. I'm planning n keeping it unless it starts to leek again then ill up to the professional series.
Runs more quietly than the similar 150 psi unit. Toggle built into compressor shroud is better than the switches on similar models. Starting amp draw is much less than similar models - lights on same circuit only dim slightly rather than going out momentarily. "Hot Buy" price made this purchase a no-brainer.
The third one of these went bad one week before the warranty expired. Then the sales rep for the area said my warranty started with the first one I received so no help to repair or replace for the motor. The first two were tank problems. Don't waste your money on this one.

It worked like a charm, no issues. Used so far on light duty, but without any problems. A little noisy when running, but then again, is a compressor and I don't care about the noise in my garage (keeps the wife away)!
