Good set but has 35 not 36 gauges. Have compared to my other one purchased in the 5 piece set and same thing, along with a friend's set. Picture even has 35 in it if you take the time to carefully count. Hard to read the markings on some gauges. The 5 piece gauge set may be a better value.

This is a nice set of feeler gauges, but after living in a soft-side bag for a while some of the steel has discolored and corroded. I expect they will clean up OK with some effort, but take note to store them with a rust-protectant or other corrosion inhibitor.

its a quality set that covers most of anything you would ever need feeler gauges for. The only complaint I can make about Craftsman feeler gauges is they don't make go-no go gauges

Works great if you need a spare or a set for small engines. I bought this to throw in a second tools set for on the go but would suggest buying a angled set if you are going to use this on a daily basis.

I recieved this combination thickness gauge about 10 years ago and it gets frequent use.It came with a tool set that was handed out during a vocational class I was attending . I was just using it a few minutes ago and thought I would write this review of it. This thickness gauge has endured plenty of rough use and still looks almost new. It has dual marked blades metric/ standard and has brass blades for ignition and magneto work. It is made in the USA by Kastar or A & E manufacturing which is known for quality thickness gauges that you can trust. I have the other Craftsman thickness gauges as well and they are made well and have no rust on them like others I have seen. This thickness gauge will cover most automotive, cycle and OPE repairs and will last you for many years. The cost is low considering what you get. It has a thumb screw that is easy to use to lock down the blades. The size marking is easy to read and has not worn out. With a little care, this tool will last a lifetime and some. Another quality tool from Craftsman.

I like to do a lot of engine mower overhauls and in order to get the right clearences I always go to my set of Craftsman feeler gauges. I have used this set for countless of different projects. They also help in checking the gap in your spark plugs. I am a very detail oriented person when it comes to engine performance and I would be lost if I didn't have these. These are essential to every detail that goes into a working engine and making sure it performs well and these definately do the trick. I recommend this product!
