Looks great in the garage. Very adjustable. High quality. I assembled by myself so it too a while (too long). Will be much easier with a set of helping hands! Phone a friend. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Bought these to replace shelving I bought a few years back that had [ressed wood shelving that was supposed to hold up to 1000 lbs. I had just a little over 100 lbs. on it and the shelves are sagging. I loaded these shelves down after assembly and have complete confidence tthese steel shelves will hold up. Very strong and sturdy.
Much like others have experienced, the shelf unit is sturdy and well made. But the instructions? the instructions to assemble the unit are horrible. The descriptions are unclear and the illustrations do nothing help.
We initially bought two of these but ended up returning one because it was just so hard to put together! The quick connectors were way too fiddly, some of them weren't threaded correctly and you couldn't get a screw in them. There were no extra fixings either to swap out. The instructions were very hard to follow also. Once put together it is a nice strong shelving unit and we are very happy with the quality and construction of it.

The unit is sturdy but the directions are terrible to follow, pictures hard to see, and the special clips are not very intuitive if you are not good with this sort of thing. Took my buddy and I three hours to put together. Once done it is a heavy duty unit but I recommend some sort of rubber castors or something for the bottom, to prevent moisture seeping up through the concrete in your garage and rusting the feet of the unit. It has been a year and mine are already showing signs of rust under the powder coat right at the foot of the unit where it touches the concrete of the garage.
Instructions were not easy to follow! I finally just looked at the picture on the Sears website and took it from there. i would like to see whoever wrote the instructions put these shelves together as directed! I connected the top and bottom parts flat on the floor instead of lifting the top. I thought it would be rickety but after tightening was very sturdy. The Cabinet was way simpler to assemble!
I got two of these. May buy more. There are a lot of parts, and you may probably should review the directions before starting construction. Once the legs and the bottom shelf is attached, it becomes pretty routine. Once assembled. the sturdiness is evident, and it actually looks good. I'd definitely recommend these to a friend.
Assembly instructions not easy to follow. More pictures and illustrations needed. The hardest part is on the middle shelf. I had to go back to Sears to take pictures.
Screws using a screwdriver would be better than screws using an allen wrench, a few of the screws provided were defective and had to be force fitted. Directions were very incomplete and diagrams not very helpful.
