Dangerous... Doesn't last.

Even the el-Cheapo Harbor Frieght Discs last longer. For what they charge for these things you're better off going elsewhere. Go with the Dewalt brand. They're far and beyond much better discs and safer. I had bought 5 of these craftsmen discs for working on the Chassis of my 1950 ford F1. Sears wanted more for these at the store than what the site was asking. I was in a hurry picked them up and went to work. 2 of them exploded after about 5 seconds of work. The other 3 did cut but did not last maybe half the cuts I made with just one Dewalt disc. The tendency of these things to explode on the tool makes them dangerous and not worth the money or hassle.

Cut Through a Basketball Goal Post Filled w/ Concrete - NO SWEAT

If you spend any amount of time on the Community Forum you may have read my Project - A Brand New Southern Indiana Lawn Ornament.

In this project I describe the steps I took to cut down my son's basketball goal which was anchored in 2/3 cubic yard of cement and filled to the brim with concrete. Please check it out if you are interested.

This is the cut-off wheel I used to perform this demolition. It worked like a charm. Afterwards I made three addition cuts to get the goal posts down to managable sized pieces so that my weiry old back could mover them.

That is a total of 5 cuts through heavy gauge steel, filled solid with concrete and there is still cutting life left on this blade.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

This cut-off wheel works great

Needed to cut some u-bolts for my axle.  Worked perfect.  Cut through grade 8 bolts like butter.  Thanks...  (Don't forget the safety googles!)

I would recommend this product to a friend.
