Just setup and tested. Good so far. Love the gas only feature, starts easily.

it starts in one pull it is quite but powerful it is a little heavy but worth it I will see how it is in 1 year I use a blower daily I get 1 year out of one then get a neis time so I feel safew one I bought a 3 year insurance this time I sould not need to buy one from now own

Was not sure how this blower would compare to a 2 cycle blower. Well I have only used it a couple of times, I am completely satisfied with it. It started the first time with only 1 pull of the rope. The rope start is easy to use. I think my grandchild could start it. The 4 cycle engine runs very smooth. As long as it stays this way after more use, I will be very happy. No more oil mixing.

What they dont tell you is that the little thing of oil that comes with the blower is not enough to fill to the full level. That would have been nice to know.

Really nice blower. Not too loud. Starts really easily and runs well. It takes a minute or two to warm up. Has pretty good power. Its nice to use gas and not have to use 2 cycle mix. Holding in left hand is a bit of a problem as the intake sucks in the clothing. Not too heavy because my wife uses it too.

First off, forget about the CFM ratings.  There's no possible way this unit pushes 450 CFM.  As I discovered later, not all blowers use CFM ratings from the "end" of the exit pipes, where it matters.  Case in point, Stihl and Echo are known for pushing the most leaves, and their CFM ratings are lower.  I do however, appreciate the features that some of the Craftman blowers have without extra cost to the consumer.  For example, more comfortable grips, service and technical support, and wide choices of models are important to me, so I've had Craftman blowers in the past.  After owning a Craftsman 2 stroke blower for years, it finally expired, but I was pleased to see the same unit still in production.  Unfortunately, it was out of stock.  The store associate allowed me the 4 cycle upgrade at the same price, which I thought was a good offer.  It was not.  Yes, the 4 stroke unit did start easy, and it is convenient with no oil/gas mixing, but the benefits stop there, so I returned it.  This 4 cycle blower, a clone of the Troybuilt line, simply did not compare to my better Craftman two stroke I previously owned.  It took about 5 minutes to warm up to full operating power, and the lower tube kept "vibrating itself off".  But the worst problem is the actual motor...it is mounted differently in the housing.  At full throttle, the entire blower rotates, (spins), to the right horribly.  You need to counter this motion by constantly pressuring or twisting your wrist to the left so as to maintain straight aim.  It's not impossible to handle this blower, or even maintain straight operation, but after 30 minutes, you're gonna feel it.  This, with the extra few pounds of weight in this particular model, was enough for me to go back to the lighter and better maneuverable two strokes.  Nobody has perfected a 4 cycle blower yet...so don't try to find one.  Even top rated Stihl and second rated "Echo" is shy of 4 cycle blowers.  Here are your choices...Stihl and Echo for top performance...Husquvarna, who makes their own "homeowner" line...and then there's everything else...you name it...all made by MTD.  There's a few others like Makita and such, but most independant and box store retailers you're familiar with simply don't choose to carry them.  I'm gonna stay with the Craftsman two stroke, model #358794770.  For years it gave me the compromising features I liked...it felt better in my hands, and was quite strong for my wooded half acre, so I'm getting another one.  Just remember, if your decision is based soley on the CFM ratings, don't believe the labeling.  And if you desire the blower that will absolutely move the most leaves, it's Stihl...then Echo...HANDS DOWN...regardless of the claimed or printed ratings on the other units.

My husband has wanted a 4 cycle gas blower for a few years now. We finally found this one on sale at Sears online. It is exactly what he wanted. Lightweight, easy to start, but still has the power he wants.

A great blower ! Many advantages. Regular gas, easy start, no mixing the gas and oil, variable speed, just to name a few. The only disadvantage is that it is not as powerful ( IMO ) as some of the 2 cycles. But still it gets the job done. I thought It would be a little heavy for my wife, but she said she didn't have any problem.

Less the 20 hours,,, No compression.. I'm a highly qualified aircraft mechanic and had second thoughts about buying a 4 stroke,, probably burned up a valve,, rebuild? It may not be worth it,,, wish I had not purchased this....
