A REAL WORK HORSE
I chose this tiller over the Mantis because of the larger motor. Attachments that sold separately for the Mantis came with the Craftsman, the Craftsman was less expensive and has twice the warranty. After ordering it arrived in just a few days. Read the owners manual 4 times, put the oil and gas in, and fired that work horse up! The next hardest thing to the ground herabouts is concrete, but it ate right through it! After an hours use it accomplished as much as my shovel and I in a week. I'm happy as can be. I highly recommend it!

Craftsman 4-Cycle Mini Tiller
Do not buy this product unless you have access to gas that is below 85. They do not sell in our area the closest is a boat marina. They do not tell you this when they sell it to you. However they will not warrent the tiller if you use anything 85 or above.

I purchased this tiller 4 years ago. I have had to send it in twice in two years to have the starter cord replaced - and just this morning the Sears repair person called to say the repair would cost $100.00. The manufacturer has made it impossible for me to do this simple repair myself. I am purchasing a cordless tiller from a different store this afternoon.

Improvement over the old 2-cycle mini tiller.

Bought this to replace an old 2-cycle, model 536.292524, which I think I burnt out the transmission from not greasing it. This is a big improvement, the tines do not clog with weeds like the older model and I can use the mower gas in it instead of a special 40:1 mix. I've only used it this spring and I am really happy with it, its light and does a great job on the small gardens I till for neighbors, friends and relatives.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

So far so good

The 4 cycle engine makes the work twice as easy...no mixing like my old one. There is plenty of power once it warms up, so don't get in a hurry, do as the instructions say, let it warm up for 1 or 2 minutes then go. Check to air cleaner screw, it vibrates loose after some use but nothing to worry about. Only thing that is goofy is the oil check and fill, so don't throw the oil bottle away that comes with it initially. A lot better machine than my old Mantis so till away.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Exelent product for small works

This product works perfect  for my needs, it gos in smalls gardens and it is easy to operate.

If you want this mini tiller for large jobs, problably it will not work but for a vejetable garden and flowers beds is great.

I just replace my old mini tiller that I had for over 10 years and so far this new one is as good as the old on.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
