This is a powerful little tiller without dragging you all over the place. You have full control. You can adjust the depth you wish to till but be careful if you have roots in the area you're tilling. I use it for reseeding some areas of my lawn and it works great, easy start, and it does the job.
Very little assembly required. Operating instructions were easy to follow. It was easy to start. Machine is quite light, easy to handle, yet operated ruggedly when I hit roots.

I have only used the Craftsman mini tiller for two years and it starts fine but once i tip it up and try to start it dies because the tines are completely froze. Took it to our lawn mower mechanic and he recommended not taking it to Sears because it would cost more to fix it than it is worth. Expensive piece of equipment for two years of very light work! Won't make this mistake again with a Sears or Craftsman product.
What caught my eye with this tiller is it is compact and 4 cycle. I used it in a garden space of 14ft by 20ft. It is easy to use. Has an automatic starter that I can use but I have no problem pulling the string. It cranks up everytime.I cut all the grass up first and then raked. When I went to tilling deep all I had to do was walk back with it. It was that easy to do. I have had lumbar surgery couple years back. It doesn't **** your body around like bigger tillers do. All in all, I really think I got my moneys worth.
