This Black 4-Drawer Metal Chest starts with a cantilever tray so you can better organize small parts, keeping small items like screws, nuts and bolts organized and within easy reach. Each drawer fully extends on stainless steel slides where you'll find your most dependable hand tools. The stainless steel slides are built to last for many years, so you get the same quality performance for the years of work ahead. Weighing 25 pounds, this heavy-duty chest can be easily carried and transported with the comfort-grip handle on top.

I was expecting the grey-black finish look like you see on cast iron, kind of like on the Singer CG-590, but got a flat-black finish instead. It is scratch resistant, but it looks much better in the picture than it does sitting in front of me. The picture is very deceiving. The drawers are cheap, flimsy, shallow and typically slide out unevenly. Overall I'm kinda disappointed. I'm actually gonna take the drawers out and put a custom speaker cabinet in the opening. When I but a portable toolbox for my tools, I'm now considering buying one from Viper or International.

Mine lives a hard life on the back of my wrecker in the rain and sun and dust but it keeps on working and looking good. the only gripe is the latches started to rust within days so i painted them, liked it enough to buy a second one for my other truck.

This box is just the right size to take all the tools you need from place to place. The best part of it is the exterior finish: it feels like somebody just hit it with Rhino-liner. It's expensive for a hand toolbox, but it really straddles the line between portable and compact stationary box. Because of the carrying handle and four drawers, it does both jobs well, and that justifies the price. You don't have to provide a lock. The locking mechanism is built in, and that makes the price yet more reasonable. These are NOT made in China. They are made in Mexico. I know it's not American-made, but maybe some people prefer stuff made in the western hemisphere and not China. I prefer it myself. The quality feels great and I was impressed with the smooth paint finish on the drawers. Nobody really makes a box like this except Craftsman, so if you want a hefty handbox with drawers, this is your only choice. When the top lid is closed, you can't open the drawers. Almost all toolboxes with drawers do this so it's stable and the drawers won't fly open. But I wish you could override it so the drawers can be opened whenever you want. My only gripe about this product.

This tool box is the best one I've ever owed. It has plenty of space for my tools. The comfort fit hand is nice when carrying it around a lot. It seem sold and sturdy , the scratch proof coating is nice. I don't have one scratch or dent on my box.

i have had this box for more about ten years now and ts as good as the day i got it no scratches, rust or dent and i use it alot i recommend this box to anyone looking to carry a fair amount of hand tools
