Bought this to help with my Crown Molding and flooring projects. Worked great but was a little big for my projects....

Great tool. I used it to mark the girder angle off the end bents of a bridge I was laying out. Reads to the nearest 0.1 of a degree. Only issue is the noise it makes. Spinning sound. Manual says it is normal, but only time will tell.

The Craftman 4 in 1 angle Finder is a very accurate protractor type tool and at half the cost of Bosch's same type tool with all of the same functions. This is a great tool for contractors, fine woodworkers and finish carpenters. Chris

I thought this would serve as a digital level and give me the angle that it's sitting on. It doesn't! It only reads the angle between the two parts. You can figure out a surface's angle by putting the beam on the surface, then opening the angle finder until it is visually level and measuring the angle. I'm surprised with all that electronics & the 4-in-1 name that it can't do that.

I've used this unit numerous times in my home remodeling project. But I went back to my friends angle finder bought other places due to it working much better and reliability being better.

This fits the bill for finding angles and matches the degree setting available on my new miter saw. It takes the guess work out of finding angles down to 0.1 degree. The screen is easy to read from either side and can easily be flipped with the push of the power button, so the position of the tool is irrelevant with regards to reading the display. It also has a slide that allows the tool to fit tight smaller corners for accurate readings. The only thing it is missing is a storage case, especially for the price. It seems like lot of money for what it does but when you look at how much waste that it cuts down on, you will quickly recoup it. I saw that it is also available at the outlet store at a significant savings and can be shipped to any store for pickup.

Crown Moulding installation is a nightmare without this tool. I spent 4 hrs making cuts in vain. Once I had the tool I remade ever cut inside of 1 hr, and all were perfect. I would never try, or recommend anyone attempt a job without this tool. It is so easy to use, and has more features than you could ever ask for. I love this.

I built a deck for my girlfriend using different angles based on her design. I could not have done it without this tool. It saved me a ton of time and is extremely accurate.
