Having an old American-built pickup truck usually doesn't require my buying many special tools. Unfortunately, in the Chrysler 318, the spark plugs require a 13/16 spark plug socket, not the 5/8 I am accustomed to. I hit the hardware store, looking for a good option to get those old spark plugs out. Unfortunately, I could only find one store that sold the 13/16 spark plug socket separately and when I got to the counter, I was disappointed to discover that it was made in Taiwan. I quickly put it back and ran back and grabbed the Craftsman set, even though I already had a 5/8 socket, simply because it was Made in the USA.
When I got back home, the sockets worked perfectly and got out the plugs. The ratchet actually broke on the second to last plug, but the sockets remained unfazed. I would recommend the sockets to others, I just wish that they were not grouped in sets of four.
Good quality expected from Craftsman. Good assortment for whatever size spark plugs. Used to remove spark plugs on my car, Rubber held in place making removal a cinch. No drawbacks I can see.

I needed a spark plug wrench to change the plugs in my 2007 Pathfinder and looked online for reviews and found these. Although there were some negative one written I still went to Sears to see them in person. All 6 sets there were made in china and have the domed shaped top but the set still looked nicely made, I prefer made in the USA but had no option today. I bought them and came home to try a plug in it and the dome pops over the plug tip, holds well and releases easily when it's needed to. I absolutely will keep these, they were worth the money. A tip for any of you who are doing replacements on a car with a deep seated plug, take a roll of electrical tape and wrap the tape over the socket extension and the socket to eliminate the possibility of them separating at an inoportune time. Some anti-seize compound on the threads is a good idea as well.

These are just the tools you need to do the job of changing spark plugs correctly and with little problems. Craftsman is the best tool out there with there great guarantee.
I bought these Online. the set I got was made in CHINA. I went to a Sears Hometown Store and found an American made set and swamped them out. The Chinese made set had poorly made rubber inserts that are dome shaped. The were not a pass through design. I question whether or not that domed insert would even protect your spark plug insulator The American made set has a good stiff rubber tube insert and is superior in every aspect. I am currently buying up as much USA made Craftsman tools as i can get my hands on, and when I can no longer get USA made I will move on. I will be done buying from Sears until they bring jobs and quality back to the American marketplace.

I bought these Online. the set I got was made in CHINA. I went to a Sears Hometown Store and found an American made set and swapped them out. The Chinese made set had poorly made rubber inserts that were not a pass through design. They were dome shaped and too shallow to really protect the spark plug insulator. The American made set has a good rubber tube insert and is superior in every aspect. I am currently buying up as much USA made Craftsman tools as I can get my hands on,If i want foreign sourced tools i will expect to pay foreign sourced prices, and not made in the USA prices. The USA made ones get a 5 star but since they are a rarity i can only go 3.
