Purchased earlier this year and used on an average sized suburban turf lawn. Both batteries required to mow about 2000 sq.ft. of lawn. As lawn is over twice that size, mowing takes all day with charging or have to mow over 2 days. Not very convenient... Mower should have come with 2 4A instead of 1 4A and 1 2A. To rectify this I wanted to purchase another 4A battery. For the past month the 4A has been not available anywhere in the Chicago area. I bought this based on reviews saying it could mow an average 5000 sq.ft. lawn on the included batteries. It fails quite badly at that metric. The lack of availability of 4A batteries is very strange and quite poor logistics planning on Sears' part. Having used corded mowers for over 25 years, my first foray into cordless mowers is quite disappointing.
I was looking for a quality mower that was not loud. This was it! Works like a charm, just remember to keep the batteries in a cooler area and not in a hot garage in the summer.
It was very easy to use. Lightweight and easy to push. The batteries are hard to remove from mower for a women. If a man was removing the batteries it would be no problem for them. I would recommend it to friends in fact everyone has asked me how I like it and I always say great !!!
Feels like I am pushing a toy. Does the job. Started out with grass > 10" high, two passes and four charges to cut it down. Once lawn in control, one charge does all. Light, clean, easy to pull into and out of house. Did not want gas because I need to store it inside my house.
Very good lawnmower for light to moderate use. At this time I would not recommend it for large lawns, very high or real thick cutting. It will work, but you have to make additional passes. As far as large lawns; the batteries may not last long enough. Lightweight and easy to transport,(if you are using it for more than house, which I am). Easy to use. Breaks down easily for storing. I actually hung it on a hook in the garage like a bicycle----no oil or gas leaking issues; yeah!!!!!! Batteries charge surprisingly quick. Mine came with 2 batteries and 1 charger. You can do some other things while you wait for a full charge. Weedwack, etc., then finish up the mowing if need be. The batteries seem to hold a charge for some time, once charged. Seems to take about an hour or less to charge. I am now using all battery operated lawn equipment. Lawnmower, weedwacker/edger, and blower. MANY benefits, few negatives!!!!!
The electric lawn mower is environmentally friendly substitute for the conventional gasoline-drive lawn mover which emits greenhouse gases and pollute the environment.

I've used this lawnmower 2 times and my 12 year old son has used it once to mow our ~4000 sq. ft. lawn. The first time I used it with only one battery while the second was charging. It had enough power to cut my overgrown lawn, and then cut the lawn two more times with the second battery added without needing to recharge. Batteries ran out just as I finished the third time. My son wasn't strong enough to start or push the old gas mower but easily handled this one. He's going to mow the lawn for the rest of this season. I love this lawnmower.

I bought this lawnmower to replace my corded electric lawnmower. Sure it cost twice as much as the one I had before, but the features and performance are worth it. No more tangled cords and having to move cord around to mow. I mowed front and back yard .14 acre (+/-) lot and still had the big battery fully charged. The unit has two batteries. The adjustable height is done with one lever versus four individual levers on the one I had before. It has a mulching or grass catching option. The locking / folding handle is simpler to operate.
This mower is used on a rocky, rutted, uneven surface. My lawn is mostly weeds as they require little care outside of mowing. Since this mower works so well on my "lawn," it should work flawlessly for people who actually have grass lawns. The batteries last long enough to do my entire yard (front and back) and most of another. They retain full power right up to the end of their charge, and recharging takes less than three hours. I'm not sure how long it actually takes. It might be as little as 90 minutes. It does an excellent job of mulching or catching clippings. In short, it's a powerful machine that is easy to use. I'd not hesitate to buy it again.
