Fine chest if you can pick up at a store and check it out before taking home! Regarding Quiet Glide - it is not a ball bearing slide. Drawers won't slide as nicely as a true BB chest when you load them down. Same slide type as used on many other brands, including at the H.F. stores. Fine for home/hobby chest if you arent planning on putting heavy shop tools in the drawers. Can't tell you how much weight the drawers can handle, mine is damaged. Bought this top chest as part of a combo - base came via freight, this top chest came via UPS. Shipping cardboard box didn't look damaged, but when opened the top lid was caved in. Guess they stacked something heavy on top of the box in warehouse, during shipping or some other time before in my hands. You'd think an old-time catalog company like Sear would know how to ship things. Ship via freight and not suffer from heavy box and brown trucks. In my case, Sears is out of stock and RMA issued, but they are saying to reorder later when in stock. I asked about how I can reorder with my discounted price and they claim that it will be honored. Got any bridges in Brooklyn for sale too? I'm thinking I'm screwed! Don't let them ship via UPS!
