Lots of Air
I was skeptical as to whether this blower would be powerful enough to do the job. I have tested the blower in every situation around my property (garage floors, shop, sidewalks, patio, gutters, roof, garden area, etc.) except for blowing snow (have to wait for some) and it has produced excellent result for every job. It does as well or better than the gas blower it replaced. It is lighter and much more maneuverable. My jobs are mainly small to medium in size with leaves, sticks, needles, dust and debris, etc. and the blower has handled all very well. The blower has a variable speed control which is great for areas that don't need 150 mph winds. I believe the blower would be challenged if it were used for commercial or heavy duty blowing. I did blow some damp vegetation and the blower did well. I am very satisfied with this blower. It is very quick and easy to pop the battery in and quickly blow off the driveway, sidewalks and patio on a daily basis - much more efficient than sweeping. The blower comes with a 2A 40 volt battery which will provide about 40 to 45 minutes of power (hallelujah - no more gas and oil). Interestingly enough most of my jobs take about 55 to 60 minutes!! I purchased the larger 4A 40 volt battery and use the 2A as back up (by the time I use both batteries up, I am ready for a break!). Both batteries charge in about an hour so if you put the discharged battery on the charger it should be ready by the time the battery you are using is spent. Overall, I am very satisfied with this blower. It has made clean up around the house and yard quick and easy.

Not Impressive
I bought this (and overpaid, just for the Craftsman name) to clean my sidewalks. I have had other cordless blowers, B&D, Greenworks, Earthwise, and others. All are relative the same in performance, it is the battery life that separates the boys from the men. This one is below average on performance, average on the noise level, and above average on the life of the battery. I do like the new 40v lion concept, they just need to incorporate it with better performance. The variable speed helps with battery life, but I would sacrifice a couple of minutes for better air flow, after all it is a Craftsman.

Great for the battery

The blower motor could have been more powerful. It does a lousy job around the yard, but twice as nice as the 19.2 blower/vac in the blowing mode. What I like most, I got the battery and charger to keep my other devices running and got this as a garage blower.

Great design

Lightweight, easy to use, great for areas without power outlets and for porches and drives with lots of trees. if doing major cleanup work use a plug in but for frequent cleaning this is great. Lasts long enough to do a large area.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Cordless Blower

I was disappointed with this product for outdoor use. It does not create enough velocity to adequately blow leaves around the yard for clean-up. The product is light weight and easy to assemble and use. I have purchased the new 40V hedge trimmer and weed whacker and are very happy with these products. The online purchase process, notification and pickup were wonderful as usual. I have been using craftsman products for over fifty years and always will.

Okay for light work...

Pros: Light weight, quiet, ease of use, convenience Cons: Power, battery life Has considerably less power than my similarly rated gas model (140 mph). Battery life is limited...probably good for 30 minutes.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
