Very easy to put together, about half an hour. Sturdy construction. I do fill the bags up very fast but that's cause I'm mulching leaves from last Autumn. I'm sure it won't be as bad once summer comes. The chute does get clogged once in awhile if I don't empty the bags soon enough, but it's so easy to take the chute off and pull out the clogged debris, it's not really a big deal. Would be nice if this model had the clogged chute indicator spinning wheel. Not sure what everyone is complaining about assembling this on their tractor/mower. In my first weekend I bagged up 32 bags of yard waste.
I thought that this was a plastic bin. When I watched my husband use it the first time, he looked like the Peanuts' PigPen character with the cloud of dust floating all around him as the grass and dirt was blowing into the mesh bins. I asked him if it bothered him, but he appreciated the see-through to know if it needed empty and I noticed he also would push on the bag while driving to know if it needed emptying. So, we're keeping it. I hope I don't have to mow, though.
Seen this bagger and based on a previous comment, did not buy, but rather bought one that was a 3 bagger for a 42" mower. Long story short, I had also bought the "Craftsman 42?46 In. Cut 2-Bin Bagger" for my son's 46" mower and preassembled it at my house, and it fit my 42" mower. Took it off and applied it same as on mine (you adjust the bag placement on the bracket based on mower size). Since I have a empty lot that I keep mowed, the 3 bagger was the one for me ....WRONG!!!! What I learned: know the model series the baggers are meant for and you will not have fit issues. The site should be explicit to avoid misfit reviews. Had to take the 3 bagger back (sigh!) and get the same one I bought for my son. Work great. I agree, the bagger fills too quickly, but I temp replace the side shute tube with my mulching cover, then pre-mulch the leaves. I re-apply the tube, then pick up the mulched leaves. Its not that much work as it takes me a few minutes to remove and reapply. Will see the test of time how well it holds out. I plan on using the bagger for the fall only (maybe once during the spring to pick up leftover leaves from the previous season)

I purchased this thinking it would fit my 46" YT4000 tractor. Description states it fits 42 to 46" right? The price was right and the frame came fully assembled since it had been installed on another tractor for display at my local hometown store. Everything was included except the original box which I had no use for anyway. I brought it home, took a quick look at the installation instructions and proceeded to attach the framework to my tractor. Pretty straightforward installation called for mounting 4 bolts to the tractor's frame and sliding the bagger frame onto them. Fine and bagger frame lined up and mounted perfectly, after a couple slight adjustment of the bolt depths. then you add the bags and the (2) piece chute and your done, or so you think. The bottom of the chute, the piece that attaches to the opening on your tractor, with a couple rubber clips where the grass comes out, was too small. This is NOT designed for a 46' tractor. Here's a little hint. Under the engine cowl there's a sticker. On this sticker you'll find info (part and item #) listing all the attachments that will fit your particular model tractor.
I like this bagger better than the one I had before. The hose is larger it just need to have 3 bins that is the only problem the bins fill up to fast. overall I say it is excellent.

The lawn tractor bagger fits my very old 42" Craftsman pretty good. My tractor is quite old and so the bagger is not a perfect fit. I had to rig up a locking mechanism using some wire, as I don't have all the holes in my deck the bagger requires for a secure connection. Also, the hole in my side discharge is a tad larger than the new version tractor decks, so I had to put piece of duct tape over a slight opening. I gave it a workout picking up some leaves and it worked great. Easy to lift out the bags and dump them into the trash. A serious time saver over either raking or using my 21" lawn mower bagger.
