So far, very nice machine
I replaced my 17 year old 16HP-Hydro trans tractor with this 21HP- Hydro trans model during Thanksgiving Friday sales. It was delivered fully assembled on Monday and pushed directly into my garage. I double checked the oil, tire pressures, filled the tank with fuel and started it on the first turn of the key. Then I purged the trans per the manual instructions and cut the front lawn after running the engine with no load for a few minutes. For the price it was the best deal in a mower with hydro drive and a 42" deck which is what I wanted. It's made by Huskurvana and has a Huslurvana emission label under the seat. Very easy to operate and it seems pretty well built with an engine made in the states so my guess is it will be fine for my needs. Since the few weeks I've had it,I see no flaws and have no gripes I can say about it. Time will tell, but I'd buy the exact same machine if I had to do it again.

Sears Craftsman Yard Tractor

I purchased a Sears yard tractor and had nothing but trouble from the start.  Working with customer service could take up to a month to send parts and get a repairman out to install.  I will never buy another Sears Chraftsman unit again.

So Far So Good!

I purchased this yard tractor in May and was disappointed by the delivery team twice before they finally showed up with my tractor. The crew that delivered it knew absolutely nothing and were not helpful. They were nice, but not knowledgeable (and late). I had read the manual several times as I had no previous experience with a tractor. THE MANUAL WAS VERY HELPFUL. Overall, I am very pleased with the tractor. I wish there was a way to raise the deck even higher as when it is set at it's highest setting it still cuts quite short. If anyone knows how I can do this, I would appreciate hearing from you. I also purchased the 2 bag soft sided bagger with the mower. It was easy to install and works very well. I have a full acre of property and it took me about 1.5 hours and about 1.5 gal. of gas. As I am new at this, I expect to get faster with experience. I have some slopes & a few obstacles, but the tractor is easy to maneuver and is responsive. It does a nice job.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Not well engineered

Least little bump and hood bounces up. Strange arrangement where hand lever is used to control rolling speed; must change key position to reverse mower; will not cut in reverse. Engine seems to be solid. Chasis seems to be well built. Metal covers and plates not solid; poorly supported.

Great for my flat yard

Bought this to cut my yard which is almost an acre. Ground is flat and the mower does a neat looking job. Just tuned it up after the first season. Wish it had a hour meter, I bought one and installed myself. Had service within the first month, they forgot a pin or bolt and the steering wheel pulled up and was free spinning. No problems since.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Overall
Right mower for my lawn - priced right.

Ideal combination of size, power, cutting width. (1/2 acre with obstacles). Expect to get a dozen or so years of use, as with my previous Craftsman mower. Comfortable, powerful with intuitive controls. Like oil filter system. Under-deck wash system.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

After 3 years of use...

This tractor would have gotten a 5 star rating from me after year one, but I've had multiple issues since, slipping drive belt (nearly every time I get the tractor out) and most recently, the frame cracked and broke off where the rear axle connects, along with the rear drive assembly. Buyer beware, a purchase like this should stand the test of time without causing these kinds of headaches. My options now are wait 2 weeks for Sears to charge me $100 for a technician to see if it's covered under warranty, or fix it myself. Really disappointing considering Craftsman's whole ad campaign are that it's tractors stand up and exceed the quality of competing brands.
