Great if you find a set made in USA!
A friend had the chinese version of this set and we broke several bits effortlessly even the ratchet felt funny. He returned his set for a refund. He found at another store a made in USA version and the quality is so far superior to the chinese. I also rescued a made in USA set the last one in a sears store the rest were chinese, I'm very happy with it's quality and I know unless something changes, no equal replacement tools are available, replacing a made in USA tool for chinese is not an apple for an apple.

How to distinguish the Made in the USA versus Made in China.
I stopped in a Sears Hardware last week and took a look at this set. It had "Made in the USA" stamped all over the sockets and the wrench. I ended up ordering from Craftsman.com and instead of opting for in-store pick up, I had it sent to me. Unfortunately the one that was sent was all made in China. How can you tell the difference? Well, the case is slightly different. The lock on the case for the USA version is a slider, whereas the China one is a flipdown clasp. Furthermore, the one made in China says so on the label. As for quality, I can't yet say if there is a significance between the two. Sure I could exchange the made in China one for the USA version, but to what end? I don't know if I'm going to use it enough to notice the quality difference. I will say that the printing on the sockets don't seem quite a sharp as the US versions, which may or may not be a sign of overall quality. Either way, if the manufacturing locale is important to you, just take a little time to look at the case and if you are lucky look inside. You're better off on buying them in the store, since the mailed ones will most likely be made in China. (As a bonus, they failed to remove the security device. I had a lot of fun cutting it off, only to be welcomed with the annoying siren which I could only shut off by removing the battery)

Made in China

I had my eye on these for several weeks and grabbed them up when they went on sale. I haven't used them yet, but they do have lifetime warranty. I am not too crazy about the case as the pieces go all over.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great craftsman tools

I got a really good price on these so I bought them just to put new floor decking o my trailer. I used the T 40 and T 30. They work great. Although I am a bit disappointed in the quality. The bits are already worn after a few hours of use. I wish they would quit making things in china and thinking the their savings passes on the same quality to us.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Kinda long but work well

This set is great. The bits are kinda long though.if you have plenty of room you can't go wrong.with the lifetime warranty just bring one back. By no means are they like the made in USA ones. Typical quality you'd find elsewhere.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great bit set

This is a great collection of bits to have all in one case. I'm always having to grab multiple boxes to make sure that I have all the bits I need to complete a project. Now, I just have to grab this case and I have them all.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
