good bang for your buck
i bought this lawnmower at sears in florence sc and the salesman was very helpful. my yard is very hilly and bumpy and this mower does great it does not scalp the yard. i purchased the wheel kit to put on mower but you really dont need it gonna take mine back. it has plenty of power and pulls a trailer very easily. i went from a kubota diesel tractor to this one and am very pleased with the performance

Be careful buying this product
I have shopped at Sears for years for all of my power equipment. I bought this mower yesterday only to find it wouldn't start in the afternoon. My neighbor came over and we finally got it started. Now it smokes so I have service coming out. I assumed this thing had a Briggs or Kohler and my neighbor told me this was a china engine. Will see how this goes but may wind up returning this unit

Thank you Craftsman

Over the years I have learned to trust the Craftsman name, so when I went to purchase a riding lawn mower I turned to Sears. I have not been disappointed in the least. I'm not trying to mow knee high grass, this is for lawn manintenance. I used it all last year and went to start it up last weekend and it started with no problem. I mowed our lawn then my son mowed out neighbors. Thank you!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

tractor purchase

I purchased this lawn tractor on Thanksgiving 2013. I am a single woman and I thought that the tractor would at least be assembled. I was not told at the time of purchase that I had to request assembly. When I went to get the tractor it was still in the shipping crate. No seat, No steeringwheel, nothing attached. I was very disappointed. I know that at the same time that I was purchasing my tractor there was an elderly lady across from me purchasing the same tractor. I just hope that she was lucky enough for them to have put hers together before she got it. No sure that I would every recommend your Bridgeport West Virginia store to bu any em this. I just hope that when I get someone to assemble it for me that it all works correctly.

I purchased this lawn tractor on line about 18 months ago to have a back up for my other lawn tractor. I should have gone to the store before buying to check it out. I had no idea the would make it so user friendly. 1. This piece of junk wouldn't even hold a drink like my old one. 2. The blades were redesigned from 5 point to 6 point to make it hard to find and cost more. That was a surprise today since I had had 2 sets from the other one. I assumed they would be the same. Don't try to be logic with craftsman. 3. My shift lever broke after about 12 months ago, plastic junk. The engine still runs. I have seen the price go down since last year. The economy and the product quality has gone down. This is my last craftsman purchase. Sears is about out of business.

Lawn mower

I purchased the first one on 7November and when I got it home, it ran approximately 10 minutes and died . It would not restart. I called warranty and after a run around finally got an appointment for repair some 3 weeks later which I was not happy with. I called the store to complain and they told me they had another they would trade out. I am happy with the new mower and am delighted with its performance. I feel the warranty service leaves a lot to be desired.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great mower

I was scared when I saw some of the other reviews for this tractor. I'm happy to say I have not had any of the issues I read about. Tractor starts beautifully and mows evenly with no issues. I have .5 acre yard and I finish in an hour. Would absolutely recommend this mower.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Less than pleased

I purchased this product for my husband and it has been nothing but trouble. The deck has had two different issues. One was something to do with the cable and I am not sure about the second. Now the motor is smoking and our neighbor tells us its made in China and you can't get parts for it. Really not happy with this product!!!!!!!

first rider

I just purchased this mower in August to mow a 1.25 acre yard. This was our first rider and after three mowings the deck dropped down and was scalping my lawn. I thought I had done somethng to cause this. Called service and found out it was a cable issue. Now the motor is smoking. Service has come and gone and said they couldn't resolve the smoking so going to take this back and get a unit with a different motor on it.

Decent but not a strong mower!!!!!!!!!!!

Needs to be stronger cuts fine but needs to be improved and redone. Cuts short grass good but boggs down when you have longer grass. Needs to come with a powerful engine on the base model.

Wow

I purchased this more to cut slight less than one acre of grass. The first cutting everything went fine. On the second cutting the deck fell and messed up my yard. Got that repaired and now I have cut five times and the motor smokes. I am really starting to second guess this purchase!
