This lawn mower appears to be a great riding lawn mower! It handles well and has adjustable blades so that we can determine how closely we want to cut our lawn. We also purchased the mulcher. That will make things so much more convenient during the fall season.
this lawnmower is awesome! my husband used it for the first time yesterday and loved it. he said it was easy to turn and it has a safety if you put it in reverse with the blades down it will die. he loved it!
Bought this on August 1st, 2014...overall a great deal. Got a dump cart for hauling debris and shrubs from the yard, works together flawlessly. Cuts my one acre yard grass in a little over two hours, much faster than pushing the old lawn mower around. Very good deal for the money.
This is the first tractor I've had. Simple to operate. Starts every time. No problems so far and I've had it a couple of months. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the length of time I've had it. Wish it had come with a mulching blade
I have owned both Craftsman tractors with both Briggs and Kohler that have given me very good service. We bought this one for our summer home and must say I really think sears should reconsider putting their name on it. The first thing was the deck, then it smoked, and now it won't start. I am not happy and will do my research before making another purchase decision and it won't be Craftsman
It is a good mower for the price. It wasn't my first choice of riding mowers, but it does the job. The mulch kit should be a standard item, an extra cost. Very noisy and uncomfortable ride...again the price is what "sold me" on the product.
Have had this mower for about two month now and used it to mow the lawn every week and do some light hauling around the house. Have had no problems with the mower, it cuts great. Wish it had a switch for the headlights but alas there is none so I unplugged them. With no wheels on the deck this mower will scalp your lawn, but for me only during sharp turns at high speeds (gear 4, 5, 6, and 7). Unlike some of the others I have had no problem with vibration, smoking, or dull blades, My biggest problem with this mower is its size I am 6' with long legs even with the seat as far back as it will adjust this mower is to short for me to ride without hanging my feet over the ends of the foot rests making quick stops a very interesting event. Oh I forgot, when they assembled the mower the steering wheel was off by three splines, I pooped the center cap, removed the steering wheel, repositioned it and reinstalled the nut and cap in about 15 min. Now it is centered when I am going straight. So over all for me this mower was a good buy.

Very good mower although blades were not sharpened at all upon receipt of mower. So far have had very good luck w/all appliances or mowers purchased @ Sears and my wife has purchased all of our appliances there.
