I am on my 3rd muffler, 2nd carburetor, and 2nd set of drive belts. Not at all sturdy enough for only 2 acres. Thank goodness I bought the care plan or this mower would have cost 3 times the original price. Would not recommend this mower.
nice item, 19 hp motor powerful. great for 1 acre lot. only negatives are i prefer the automatic transmission over the 6 speed manual and you have to purchase the mulching kit extra $50.00. should be a built in feature after initial purchase cost of $1400.00
This mower is a replacement for the same make and modle pauchased less than a month ago. I had to return the other one because after using three times the clutch and break went out and it would not go in gear. I returned it and they replaced it, no problem. We have used it a few times now and so far so good.
I ran my old one to a tragic death because we ran it a whole day with little or no oil in the crankcase due to an unseen oil leak that froze up the cylinders. I need it to tow my Cyclone Rake* around my property to clean up tons of leaves each fall. Only one acre, but approximately 150 bushels of leaves each week in the fall mowing season. I've only used it several times and it works very well. I took out the 5 year warranty and maintenance program because the sales rep said even flats are covered, that was my biggest issue with my old tractor, I kept on having flats and since I'm now retired, I don't want the problems of self repair as I assumed for the last 45 some years.

I bought this and when I got it home I looked it over filled it with real gas checked the oil and started cutting the grass. Its so nice and easy to use. I'm glad my other one died. This is, oh man so much better. I wish I had bigger yards and the yards I have a big. Easy and fun to use.

Had not been able to cut my grass for over three weeks due to old (12 years)Craftsman LTD1000 having lost compression and not starting. After wasting money on a carb and gaskets and many hours I bought this product. I mowed our acre yard quickly even with the six inch high growth. Was not bagging but still amazed at the power and speed of this low cost tractor. Did not bog down once and didn't seem to break a sweat even in the high 90 degree heat. The clutch action is abrupt but I learned to deal with the short engagement section of the travel and it became much easier and smoother.
This unit has a design flaw in the gear selector linkage. After 3 hours use, the linkage broke and I had to go and buy parts to repair so I could finish cutting my grass. This was half way into the second cutting of my grass. It took me all day to do a 2 hour job and also cost me extra money to make a temporary repair that lasted just long enough for me to finish cutting my grass and then broke again.
