Craftsman  42'' Premium Mulch Blade

Even when set at the highest cutting level- the Florida sand blasts it's way through these relatively quickly. My husband replaces them 3-4 times a year at $35+ a set.

I've been buying these for years. Last long and cut great.

The blade fit perfect and cut great. Alway buy the right blade that the manufacture suggest

I love the prices at Sears, so i decided to buy these Craftsman Mulch Blades. They were easy to install and work great with my lawnmower.  I mow my lawn quite often so these blades get some wear and tear on them.

These blade are good standard blade not so good. They don't bend as standard blade did.

I thought a minute before paying for the premium blades, but I think they have already paid for themselves. This seasons rock crop and root growth enhancements have kicked in and despite my best efforts I've already had several "Ooops" moments. But the blades didn't show any damage and look new. I mow about 2 acres a week, so the blades go thru a workout. If I find a sale on these I'm going to buy a bunch and store them in the garage. The last pair lasted almost 3 years, these are heavier and so might last even longer.

Bought these to replace the original equipment 42" Blades. These will fit a variety of riding mowers, Craftsman and others. They seem to be twice as thick as the OE ones, and their incresed weight (momentum) imparts more cutting energy to the grass. This means thick or tall grass won't slow them down as much as it will the lighter blades. Because of the heavier metal, they keep their edge longer. Sears seems to have the best price for these.

Best blade I have ever used there tuff I have rocks mole holes I just sharpen them and keep going plus I use the side discharge they just work great. Thanks Craftsman
