Here in the south, the first signs of Spring are starting, and we still hadn't raked our yard from Fall. Hubby is out of town so I decided to order this lawn sweeper to make the work easier. Picked it up and assembled it on Saturday. I didn't have any problems with the assembly. Each "step" in the instructions is really 2 or 3 steps, but easy to follow. I didn't have to undo/redo anything, as some others have said they had to. Maybe they've improved the instructions, because this went together pretty easily for me. Hooked up to my lawn mower on Sunday and off I went. It took a couple trials to get the right setting for this southern lawn that is still in dormancy, but once I got it set, the sweeper worked great! Is it exactly as good as hand raking? No, but it's pretty close, plus I finished in one afternoon what normally would take several days (3.5 acres-lots of leaves/pine straw) and the lawn looks great with no griping (him) and no nagging (me). Wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

The instructions were the easy part. Wheels lock up. Any speed, or sweeper height. Not sure what these people singing praise about this thing are using.

I bought this craftsman sweeper about 5 months ago. this sweeper works best when it's is completely dry outside. This sweeper DOES NOT work when there is due on the ground. Also had to repair and replace, bolts that hold sweeper blades in place. I feel that this sweeper would work best with, wider, taller tires. For the money I spent, I would look elsewhere next time.

We are extremely pleased with our new leaf sweeper. It even gets the pine cones along with the pine straw. We would recommend this to anyone who has a large yard and lots of pine trees. Can't wait to see how it works with the oak tree leaves.

The assembly of this product was very simple because it came mostly assembled. I only had to put the bag together which seems very sturdy. I also had no problems with the offset mounting which saved me on gas money because I didn't need to go back and sweep. I have to mow 3 acres of property with plenty of fruit trees and a vineyard to drive around.

After purchasing this yard sweep, I am wondering what other owners were doing wrong to cause negative remarks. If set up properly and at the right height, this product works as advertized, maybe better. Only complaint is with instruction booklet for putting it together. It should be better illustrated and and intructions more clearly written.

Once we got it together, it worked great, but I have to say - the assembly instructions SUCKED! I assemble things for a living and I was stumped on a few steps! We had to disassemble it a few times because we only found out we had done it wrong when we got 2 or 3 steps ahead - and trying to go by the pictures weren't much more of a help. But all that said, my husband has used it a few times now and is very happy with it. As long as you take your time and have some patience during the assembly process, I think you'll be pleased with the final product. It picked up everything - leaves, twigs, small rocks with no effort and dumping it is very easy. The only problem my husband had was because our mower originally did not come with a hitch plate on the back - he had made his own and this modification made the dumping lever too far away to use while sitting on the mower - had he had the correct plate attached, this wouldn't be an issue. All in all, a good product.

well built and easy to use. Sweeper does a very good job of sweeping grass clippings but pine cones can sometimes be a problem. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

The brush is the only thing that works good on this sweeper. The description "Patented offset hitch adds up to 25 inches of sweeping path" is true, but what they don't tell you is that it doesn't pull correctly. This was the main reason I purchased this item. It swings wide left or wide right depending on the setup. It works fine if the tow hitch is centered. The worst part about the item is the bag. The first day I used this, the bag ripped in 3 places. The bag was about half full with dry grass clippings and dry sweet gum balls, not enough weight really to damage. You would think with such a large bag, the design team would make sure the material would be able to handle the weight for that capacity. Do not waste your time buying this product. This could be a decent product if the bag was of better quality.
