I picked this up for some projects that I was doing out at my friend's house to help out before his first child arrived. Well, we had to install a door and also build a back porch from scratch. This level was more than up to the task and was extremely reliable. We were able to get the posts up quickly and accurately with this level and its length. Also, it was extremely useful as we were leveling 12' lengths on this deck and this level made that project quicker as well.
I'm glad that I picked up this level. I also just used it to level out some planter boxes in my backyard for my wife's gardening projects this coming spring.
I have used Craftsman levels for many years as a commercial carpenter and been very happy with them. Yes they get out of level from time to time but are easily replaced. I had my wife exchange my older (2 years old) out of plumb level for me and she came home with this thing. I wont even be using it, it probably would last a day . Craftsman really cheaped out on this new level style. The vials are not protected by any type of lens/cover. I could grab each end with my hands and twist the entire level. Just plain CHEAP JUNK.
Bought this to emplace stone walls and to get an idea of the incline of the grounds I am landscaping. (I have always had a problem with depth perception, and this tool aids me in recognizing slopes that are probably very easy to see by others.) Light weight, can gently "toss it around" the grounds, and it stores easily under the back seat of my crew cab truck.

Don't ever rely your level with those cheap line level. Recheck your level with this and you will find out a big difference. Then you won't be sorry especially if you tried to level your support for your shed.

This level is very accurate. It has performed very well for me since I purchased it. I purchased this level after my 10 year old stanley level lost one of the bubbles. If I can get ten years out of this level I will be very happy. Once again a very good craftsman product!
