This is for the big projects...

I picked this up for some projects that I was doing out at my friend's house to help out before his first child arrived.  Well, we had to install a door and also build a back porch from scratch.  This level was more than up to the task and was extremely reliable.  We were able to get the posts up quickly and accurately with this level and its length.  Also, it was extremely useful as we were leveling 12' lengths on this deck and this level made that project quicker as well.

I'm glad that I picked up this level.  I also just used it to level out some planter boxes in my backyard for my wife's gardening projects this coming spring.

Cheap Level- Poorly Made

I have used Craftsman levels for many years as a commercial carpenter and been very happy with them. Yes they get out of level from time to time but are easily replaced. I had my wife exchange my older (2 years old) out of plumb level for me and she came home with this thing. I wont even be using it, it probably would last a day . Craftsman really cheaped out on this new level style. The vials are not protected by any type of lens/cover. I could grab each end with my hands and twist the entire level. Just plain CHEAP JUNK.

48" level

This level is very accurate. It has performed very well for me since I purchased it. I purchased this level after my 10 year old stanley level lost one of the bubbles. If I can get ten years out of this level I will be very happy. Once again a very good craftsman product!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

If Your "A Little Off" You Will Know.

In use for 18 years - Has a few "Dents & Dings" from being used -- shall we say "outside of design parameters".When not in use it resides in the optional Craftsman storage tube. "Level" is routinely verified against several different Stabila levels, each & every time the results are the same- "Dead-On" Thus my statement - "Remains True Thru The Years" For the service it has given me and every time I verify the accuracy I have wondered to myself why I didn't purchase at least one more.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Lightweight, Accurate & Durable

I am in the never - ending process of remodeling my house.  I have used this level for building shelves, installing doors, putting in new kitchen cabinets, etc.... I own four levels, but this one is by far my.  It is very lightweight & easy to ready.  The edge is solid the whole length, so a straight line can easily be drawn on your project for reference.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
