After 20 years of owning craftsman tools I find that many tools are not available in stores. I own this screw driver and the tip broke. I went to two local sears (westland mall/ international mall Miami, FL) to find out they were not in stock and not planning on restocking. This voids my lifetime warranty since they won't even order on for you to replace. Their loss because every time I go in the store to replace an item I come out with 4 or 5 new ones I like. Very dissapointed with the current situation.

I have Craftsman tools from a variety of decades and I must admit that their current quality is inferior. That said, I still buy some Craftsman tools due to the price and warranty (I know Sears has been struggling and I hope they are around to warranty my tools in the future). The first time I used this screwdriver it broke. My local Sears exchanged it without asking any questions; however, if I break it again it will cost me more, in fuel to exchange, than just buying a better tool in the beginning. Please don?t break twice in two uses!

This screwdriver is the perfect size to use for most projects. This is the tool you should have on hand. It comes in handy and is used more often than not when working on things in the garage or in the house. I recommend that you have at least one of these in your toolbox.

This large slotted screwdrivers are great for not only tightening and loosening large fasteners, but for prying, scraping, and other DIY'er tasks that you might not have specialty tools for. The warranty is great, and quality allows it to stand up to extra abuse.

I work with metal. This screwdriver is jost a little bigger than the 1/4 inch. Its big enough to do the joc and withstands blows with my hammer to start the job well. the 1/4 inch is just too fragile for what I use it for. It also stands up well for the abuse I put it through. The 8 inch is easily carried around in my tool pouch. any bigger is cumbersome. The warranty is the best !!!! the returns are effortless. I usually bring in a bunch of these into my local store and exchange them as most of my coworkers use this brand I dont just use craftsman for the warranty, I also use it because its tough enough. The warranty just seals the deal
