Outstanding hose
This hose is outstanding. It is very supple and much easier to handle and manipulate than any hose I have owned previously. The brass fittings are well made. Some reviewers say the hose kinks easily. I think I know what they mean, but, instead of a problem, it is a sign of the hose's good quality. When you coil a hose, you have to twirl it in your hand as you coil it to prevent it from kinking, just like coiling a rope. Later, when you pull the hose out of the coil to use it, you typically do not reverse the twirl, and as a result the hose comes out twisted and kinks. Because this hose is so supple, it flows out of a coil easily and so it also seems to kink easily. However, the hose unkinks just as easily with a quick flick. Other hoses may seem less prone to kink, but that is only because they are much stiffer and harder to handle. They fight kinks, but only because they fight any handling at all. This hose does not fight you and is very easy to handle. Furthermore, if you use a hose reel, there is no need to twirl the hose while rolling it up, so the hose does not kink at all when you pull it back out. Any kinks that form while you are using the hose come out very easily with a quick flick of the hose. Those kinks do not leave a permanent weak spot in the hose, subsequently prone to kink again, as they would in many other hoses.

Ugh!
This is a frustrating piece of equipment. I find myself fighting to keep it from kinking in 50 different places, and anytime I touch the hose my hands end up black! I am planning to return this item.

I can't believe I'm writing about a garden hose

It almost seems silly, but I have had many garden hoses over the years, and hands down this is the best. I have it about one month. I assume it will stand the test of time. If it does not, it's Craftman so I can always bring it in. Again, sounds silly, but it has a great feel to it. My only other comment is I caught it on sale which I would recommend waiting for.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

The Real Thing

Saw this hose on a YouTube Frugal Gardener video. We have had this for a couple of months now and this hose is everything the frugal gardener says it is. We replaced a 100 ft hose that had broken and been repaired but would not hold the repair connections. Every time the hose got warm on the sun the connection would blow. At any rate we love this Craftsman top quality hose.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good quality

The only negative is that the color of the hose (black) rubs off on everything it touches - at least at first.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

As creatures of habit, this particular hose has performed great. Only my second purchase, of this hose. The first lasted 4 good years, but met its demise because my over zealous St. Bernard.

EXCELLENT HOSE!!!!

We have several (12) of this type of hose on the farm and around the house and we love them! Very durable and easy to handle. We have used them for 20+ years and never had a leak, even with big equipment running over them on occasion. Can't go wrong with this hose!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good Flexible Hose, kinks a little

When on sale this is a good buy. As other reviewers say the rubber is very flexible and durable as I had it for 1 summer dragging those hose around the driveway pavement and backyard dirt. When it is not filled with water the soft flexible hose is easy to kink, especially when attempting to coil it as I don't have a wheel for it yet. Sometimes when pressurized with water it does kink so not sure what others are experiencing but its not "kink-proof". Usually I leave my hoses in the garage so the freezing temps may not see the rubber quality. Otherwise good buy from the Sears brand.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Buy this once!

First off, a real rubber hose is a vanishing item on the hardware shelves these days. The cheap vinyl hoses most places carry are good for four or five seasons at most. Then it?s off to the landfill. Here is where you can step back into yesterday, and buy a quality product that you wouldn?t be embarrassed to show your grandfather; a real rubber hose that will last you a lifetime. And, should it fail, it is a Craftsman. Just bring it back to your Sears and get a new one. You cannot go wrong buying Craftsman products that carry the lifetime guarantee. They really do last a lifetime and are replaced if they don?t.

Nice hose

Seems better than craftsman or other brands non-kink ones..does not twist and easy to operate, have to see how long it lasts outside

I would recommend this product to a friend.
