Great for price
Fairly quiet compared to others. Very powerful. Most of the dust goes into the dust bag. Dust bag easy to clean. Easy to hold.

Great!

Does a good job. Easy on the hand (less vibration than my old sander). Like the hook/loop sanding pad.

Good Power at a Good Price

This sander has good power output and can be used to sand most of your projects. I have only used it a couple of times but I would say it is comparable to other 5 inch sanders that cost twice as much or more. I like that the dust bag comes with it and is not something extra to buy. The only con I would have to say is that the On/Off switch is a little tough to push in and out but I am guessing it will loosen with use. I would definately recommend this sander if your are looking for a low cost sander that is not a piece of junk!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Does the job

I used this on my deck today. It did a good job. The dust collector got filled a couple of times. I would say it catches about 40-50% of the sanding debris. For the price it did pretty well. I'm sure it would do well for other projects also.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good Sander

I purchased this sander a couple of weeks ago for a specific project I am working on. After just a couple of days of use, it started making an unusual noise when I turned it on. I have had to delay my project because of rain so I haven't been able to try it out again but it seemed like something was trying to go wrong with it after just a couple of days so at this point, I am not real comfortable with the quality and may have to return it. On the other hand, I have always used Craftsman tools and found them to be of excellent quality so perhaps it's just a fluke thing with this one product I purchased. Other than the noise, it was working fine and did the job!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

It Sands! It Sands!

I have recently begun a second or third mid life crisis which involves tossing my furniture out the back door, sanding it and repainting it. This little tool is very helpful! It vibrates alot, but it gets the job done and at a great price. I love it.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Great For inddors

The sander does a much better job than I expected in capturing the dust. It does not capture all of it, but I was sanding drywall, and there was considerably less dust filling the room when I was using this as opposed to sanding by hand. You can also attach a vacuum cleaner to the unit in place of the dust collection bag(which I did not do) and I assume that would make it even more efficient at sucking up the dust. I also noticed that the paper seemed to last longer when using this as opposed to sanding by hand.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
