Craftsman  5 pc. Car Cleaning Kit

Included is an 1 1/4 inch by 11 ft. hose, car nozzle, crevice tool, dusting brush and the all important hose-to-hose connector.

 Dependent on your user level this 1 1/4 inch diameter hose may just replace your supplied 2 1/4 inch hose for a majority of your vacuuming requirement's. Just round up a couple of wands.

Ever run into a situation where your supplied hose just wasn't long enough? Use the hose to hose adaptor to connect the two and it will be a breeze cleaning your car or truck with the supplied additional 1 1/4 inch attachments.

Kit looks like it works well, but it says it has a 1 7/8" hose on it, but the 2.5" adapter is not removable, meaning you cannot use this kit with the smaller Craftsman vacuums that have a 1 7/8" hose on them. Would have been great to use with my 2 gallon, but it had to go back.

When I purchased the 16-gallon Wet/Dry vacuum I knew I would need a longer, smaller hose for the cars. This set worked well when paired with that large vacuum, making it easy to get into the small spaces and quickly finish the job.

My craftsman wet dry vac is 25 years old and still work better than any other. Needed to replace the hose. I am so very happy. My living room rug looks spectacular. Thanks, Deb

I bought this because the Craftsman portable wet/dry vac I purchased did not come with a long enough hose.  This hose is a cheaper quality one that I don't expect to hold up to abuse.  That would be okay if it were priced right but at $20 for this kit, it is too expensive.

Everyone needs one of these kits with their shop vacs even if they aren't using it to clean out their car.  I find that I use the smaller tools more often just because they fit into smaller areas better without being too small or sacraficing suction.  The best part is the extra long hose that comes with it.  I can attach it directly to the shop vac itself or to the end of the larger shop vac hose to make it a really long hose if need be.  The only thing I have to be careful of with the smaller hose is that it will clog easier depending on what you are trying to suck up.

I bought this to use on both my router and my "bucket top" vac.

The hose is long and flexible so it doesn't get in the way when hooked up to the router.

Also, I use a bucket top vac for small jobs or quick pickups, but the hose that came with it was only 4' long.

This kit has an adapter that hooks up to the 2-1/2 hose on the larger shop vacs which comes in handy from time to time.

This kit is also cheaper than the shop-vac brand kits.

No real cons.

I really enjoyed the 5 pc. cleaning kit.  I was able to reach areas that the vacuum at the car wash couldn't reach.  The durability of this wet/dry vac is awesome.

Cleaned out the cars this past weekend; the car cleaning kit was simple to use / the hose is long enough to get the job done.  Just be careful as the hose is pretty thin and not sue how long it will last but it does have the Craftsman name so it is covered by the Seaers reputation for standing behind their products.

This is just what i needed for my old shop vac. I like that the hose is longer for reaching into the car. It reaches the front and back seats just by accessing one door. Tubing is smaller than my old shop vac hose...which actually seems to make the suction stronger...But I really vacillated between buying this hose or just buying a brand new vacuum...for only $9 more, I could have bought a brand new shop vac of the same size on sale.
