Great deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These wrenches with the 12 point ratchet are really flexible for different size and shape nuts and bolts. For 19.99 you can't beat the value.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Offset rachet wrenches

In changing the steering control arm bushings in the Chrysler Town and Country the design of these wrenches made the job easier with no bruised knuckles.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

I was impressed with the ease of use.

I bought these for my son to add to his tool set and was very impressed with how the handle was twisted to make it easier to maneuver or switch around when using. Of course, as with any craftsman tool, if it ever breaks they will replace it free. The lifetime warranty just can't be beat.!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Good set

Have had this set for some time now. Still come in handy. Angle lets you turn wrench without rubbing your hand on working surface. Switch on side allows you to change from tighten to loosen without turning wrench over. Will last a long time if you treat them right. (Don't use them as a hammer)

I would recommend this product to a friend.

six of one, half a dozen of the other

I'm not a huge fan of double box end wrenches, because I like each tool to be one size.  I don't appreciate the extra effort and time it takes to look at both ends of a tool to see if it's the right size.  Having said that, I caught these on sale, and decided to take a chance on them.

The ratchets on these wrenches are reversible, and in my experience, stronger than the ratchets on the ratcheting combination wrenches.  (The tradeoff is that the ratchet is coarser too, and requires more room to swing in.)  I don't have any measurements to back this up, but my brother managed to break one of my full polish reversible ratcheting wrenches, while none of these have broken on me.  That's too small a sample group for any reliability, but take that for what it's worth.  The reversing feature is different from Craftsman's other reversible ratcheting designs, but it's really no big deal to get used to them.  (The switch is on the handle instead of the box end.)

The offset is 25 degrees which is a bit more than Craftsman's standard 15 degrees.  Again, it's not something that takes too long to get used to, but it never quite feels right either.  The extra offset can be helpful if you have large hands as it will keep your knuckles clear more, but it's a disadvantage if you're working in close quarters.

With five sizes, this set reaches a bit smaller and a bit larger than the other ratcheting wrench sets.  If you need 1/4" or 7/8", this is the set for you.  The other ratcheting wrench sets don't even have these two sizes.

Ultimately, I decided that I prefer the standard offset, other switch, and higher polish of the other reversible ratcheting combination wrenches, and bought them instead.  I gave the three middle wrenches of this set to my dad, but kept the smallest and largest wrenches to complement my new set.

But don't let me put you off from getting these.  These are a great set at a great price as long as you don't mind double box end wrenches.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Ok for around the house

I am a Craftsman devotee and this will be the first time I write a review about a Craftsman product I don't like.

I bought these because I needed a set of ratchet wrenches and wish I had spent a little more on either the flex head or sealed head combination set.

I am ASE Certified so I use my tools everyday. The wrenches require too much movement for what I like to get it to grab the next tooth. Also I don't like that without the flex head the opposing end can get in the way. They are alright if you have a large open area to move it in but if it is kind of tight I don't bother with them.

I have found them to work best for me when I am removing an oil plug.
