Overall, others give this:

I've used it on a couple of small projects I was working on. On off button doesn't feel as solid as I would like, but it works.

I bought one of these a while back. Used it like three times and the switch broke. Returned it and bought a Dremel. Becoming very disappointed with a lot of Craftsman products even though they have the warranty, the tools are becoming more and more cheaply made (like ratchets with plastic direction levers). You can buy tools with the same warranty for about the same price (such as Kobalt) at other home improvement stores and you won't need to bring them back anywhere near as frequently, if at all!

WOW he was all smiles with this gift. All he said was I have a wonderful wife. What he had done about 6 weeks before the holidays was went to the stores and took photos with his phone of what he wanted. He sent them to me and I bought a few of the items from the photo list! He made it very easy for me to shop for him this year.

i love how i can grind metal, cut metal, use as a router, and even drill with it. there are lots of accesories for this tool, and it has easily done everything i've used it for. its lightweight and easy to handle. Craftsman quality has yet to let me down.

This tool was nice as far as the function. However, what I needed it for router, that attachmnet was no longer available. I ended up returning it for the dremel that has the routing tool included for basic routing.

I was disappointed that it only had one speed which was to high for what I needed it for, and since I had disposed of the box it came in I did not think I could return the items so I will just keep it.

The tool came with various helpful accessories, which I used immediately. Additional attachments were available, which addeds to the product's versatility. I thought that the single-speed would be much more limiting than it actually turned out to be. I learned to use "touch" to control the tool as opposed to speed.

This tool is just one speed. For some applications, you need a slower speed! It does fit into a dremel drill press, and the 1/8" collet allows you to use any dremel accessory. Liked it while it worked, but it gave out after about 20 hours of use. Not worth the money for that little use. The brushes are still good, but the switch gave out. Don't use it for serious sanding as it can't take it. Don't use it with a dremel tile bit as it can't take that either. Get a dewalt dw660 for tiles. For drilling holes with tiny drill bits, this is decent but a variable speed would be much better.

I've had this a few yrs but have only used a it a little. From day one the on/off switch never worked well and has now broken so the tool does not work. I took it apart and found the switch is poorly designed with flimsy parts, not up to the durability of the rest of the tool. Also, it has always rotated with more wobble than I expected, and is noisier than necessary. I should have bought a real Dremel for the same price.

I've had this tool for a couple of months now and I have used it for many different applications. It can buzz the life out of nails and bolt heads...that's for sure! Only problem with that is that it's only one speed and I think because it is at such a high speed, it breaks the cutting circles a lot. I can see how the switch MIGHT be a problem because I've had it do a couple of funky things too. Otherwise, it's done everything I've needed it to do. This review page would only let me submit an "overall" rating so I guess I can't be too detailed in what I found.
